I Chronicles 20:1 "And it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that kings go out to battle, Joab led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it."

This chapter of I Chronicles is a short summary of 2nd Samuel 11; however much of the lessons that we receive in 2nd Samuel 11 are left out by this Kenite scribe. Remember that David did remain behind in Jerusalem during that time when the kings went out to battle, and this gave David the time to commit two sins that God would not allow David to hide from. The first was the commitment of adultery with Bath-sheba, Uriah the Hittite's wife. And after she became pregnant with David child; David ordered Uriah to the front of the battle so that he would be killed.

David would pay dearly for these sins later in his life, however we see from Luke 3:31; "Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David." Nathan was the younger son of Bath-sheba; not of Uriah, for he was dead, but from David after he took Bath-sheba for his wife.

Though this portion is left out of I Chronicles 20 by the Kenite scribes, God would not allow it to be removed from the records of the prophets in 2nd Samuel 11. Each item recorded in God's holy Word is there for a very important purpose, for David was a man after God's own heart, yet God gave him a flesh nature just as you and I have. God created and made each of us and gave us a soul with a free will. Each of us have the free will to chose what we will or will not do, and through these right to choose, we do mess up from time to time. David messed up far greater than what you and I would consider doing, yet when David's sin was brought to his face by the prophet, David repented. The hardest part of repentance is forgiving yourself; but friend, if God forgives through repentance, and gave his very Son to be the sacrifice for those sins you commit, your part then is forgiving yourself. It is mocking God and blaspheming the Holy Spirit of God when you pray for forgiveness in Jesus Name and then will not let that sin go, and forgive yourself.

God forgave David after this, and used David to accomplish many great acts, even in writing the great book of Psalms. Get off your guilt trip after you see that you have done something, and have repented of that sin. Get your mind focused to where you can then be of service to God. Make it right and keep moving ahead in your life.

I Chronicles 20:2 "And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city."

There is no discrepancy here, for Joab had summoned David for that purpose, as recorded in 2nd Samuel 12:27. "And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, "I have fought against Rabbah, and have taken the city of waters."

I Chronicles 20:3 "And he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the People returned to Jerusalem."

God gave Israel complete victory over all its enemies.

I Chronicles 20:4 "(And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Sippai, that was of the children of the giant: and they were subdued."

Remember the "giants" were the offspring of the fallen angels that came to earth in that second influx, and married into the daughters of men, human beings. The first influx is recorded in Genesis 6:1 - 4, and as we read on in the chapter, this was the cause of the flood of Noah's day. Sippai then was the son of one of these fallen angels, that refuse to enter into this earth age of flesh man through the womb of woman. Sippai was killed during this battle at Gezer with the Philistines. This battle is recorded in I Kings 9:15-17. Notice that this verse is in parentheses; for the city of Gezer was built by king Solomon, after the death of David, yet these Kenites have injected it here with a battle concerning David, even before Solomon was born.

I Chronicles 20:5 "And there was war again with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spear staff was like a weaver's beam."

This is the only record of this Lahmi in the Scriptures; injected here more than likely to show the strength and size of these giants called the Nethilim that came from the union of earthly flesh women, with these fallen angels.

I Chronicles 20:6 "And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot: and he also was the son of the giant."

Again, this is giving us a description of what these giants looked like, and features that were not in the plan of God for His created human beings. They had 24 fingers and toes, six on each hand, and each foot.

I Chronicles 20:7 "But when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea David's brother slew him."

I Chronicles 20:8 "These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants)."

There is a very important lesson to us living in these end times, for the people of this earth living in these latter days, shall face a third influx of fallen angels coming to earth, and doing the same as they did in Noah's day, and in the time following the wilderness to the time of David. In summary to this chapter, Jesus warned us that as it was in the days of Noah; (or during this time of the giants), that is how it shall be in the time of the end.

Matthew 24:37 "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

Genesis 6 tells us how the "sons of God" or fallen angels saw as men started to multiply in their families on the earth, that the daughters of men looked good to them. Rather than enter this earth age as all flesh human's come, through the water sack, and the birthing processes; they just entered into our earthly realm or dimension, and took the daughters of men for their wives. Children were born to them, and these children were called the "Nephilim" or "giants", and thus started the pollution and possible end of the blood line of the coming Messiah. In time the entire blood line of Adam became polluted with the strains of these giants, and God said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth Me that I have made them." [verse 7]

God set up this earth age of flesh and blood man to enter into this realm or age, born through woman, and completely innocent of what took place in that first earth age when Satan fell, and one third of all souls followed him. Father promised a Messiah would come, suffer and die, to become the perfect sacrifice for one and all times, however Satan and his angels were set on messing up that plan of God. Then look at verse nine:

Genesis 6:9 "These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."

The first mention of "generations" here is "toledoth" in the Hebrew text; "Toledoth" is in reference to family history, your family tree with mother - father, grandparents, and so on. This is talking about the blood line of Noah back to Adam, form which the promised Messiah would come, as given in Genesis 3:15. God stated that Noah's family tree was "perfect" and with out the polluted stains of these fallen angels [giants]. "Perfect" as used here is "tamim", meaning "without blemish as to breed or pedigree." Again this is talking about family tree, and blood line. Noah's pedigree was perfect and with out the strains of these filthy fallen angels. This second "generations mentioned in this verse is "dor" and not lineage, but Noah and his immediate family were not as his contemporaries, put as God had intended Mankind in the flesh to be. All flesh was corrupted but Noah and his sons and their wives.

Matthew 24:38 "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark," [38] "And knew not until the flood came, and too them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." [39]

So Jesus has warned us that this is as it would also be at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, at the seventh and last trump. Satan and his fallen angels will be here on earth, marrying and taking in marriage with the daughters of men, for Revelation 12:9 tells us; "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

Friend, we are living in the latter days, and that time of our seeing Satan and his fallen angels is very close. When Satan and his angels do arrive, if it hasn't happened already, this end time will be exactly as it was in the days of Noah, and it will be accepted by everyone in the world, except God's elect. Revelation 9:4 tells us that only those sealed with the truth of these events in their mind before they occur, will not be given over to Satan.

Revelation 9:4 "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads."

The world governments are being drawn together as a single government. The Jews have returned to Palestine, and many of the events that are to come in the end times, have been with us for may decades. The people of this earth age are being prepared to accept the false christ when he arrives, and they will do it willfully and in innocence. Why? the traditions and laws favor such filth and protect it as it is coming into being today. Sodomy is being protected, and many other forms of filth is entering into our society, and being accepted, even by the church world calling themselves Christians.
