Deuteronomy 7:1 "When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier;"

The Girgashites and Perizzites are the left-over offspring from the second influx of the fallen angels, and another nation that should be mentioned here were the Kenites. All seven of these nations individually are mightier than this band of Israelites that are camped at the edge of the wilderness, ready to enter into their promise land. Though these seven nations are far bigger and stronger than Israel, God added to the side of the Israelites makes Israel the mightier. God is going to do the battling for Israel and prepare the way for the victory.

You can count on God doing what He says that He will do, for He will never leave you nor forsake you. These are the things that Moses is telling the people to teach their son's and daughters to the final generation. All of these nations or peoples were mixtures of through intermarriage of the second influx of fallen angels. Their blood lines were polluted with non-human beings. The intent of this pollution was to completely destroy the birth of the promised Messiah, by Satan and his following angels. However these people were not the offspring from Genesis chapter six, for those people were destroyed by the flood of Noah's day. This second influx of fallen angels came after that flood, and mixed with the other races, for remember that Noah took two of every kind, and that extended into the races of mankind from the sixth day creation, as recorded in Genesis 1:26-28.

These mixed races had to be displaced because any time you go against God's natural order of things, which is to say, things being utilized as they were created for; you run into problems. That is why some of these peoples and nations such as the Perizzites were not natural, because they were not of the offspring of men and women of flesh bodies, born from the womb of a natural order, but they were the offspring of fallen angels mating women. It is for this reason that Paul warned us in the New Testament that women should keep the veil covering over their head. Many have interpreted that veil to be hair, however this is given because there will be another influx of angels that will come to earth again in the latter days. This will happen in our generation, the final generation as recorded in Genesis 12:7-9.

Revelation 12:7 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against he dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,"

John is observing this war from the day of the Lord, at the sounding of the seventh trumpet, which shall come to pass at the close of this earth age of the flesh.

Revelation 12:8 "And prevailed not, neither was there place found any more in heaven."

Revelation 12:9 "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

This war in the heavenlies is going on now, and the arrival of these fallen angels of Satan, along with their leader will be at the sixth trumpet, which is also the sixth seal. Those angels that will come to this earth are the Nethilim, fallen angels, and they will do exactly when they did in Noah's day. Marry the daughters of men and have children. Jesus warned us of this in Matthew 24:37.

Matthew 24:37 "But as the days of Noe [Noah] were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

When Jesus Christ comes at the seventh trumpet, these angels will already have been here marrying with women, and becoming part of the families of flesh human beings. The mixing will take place again just as in the days just prior to the flood of Noah's day. This is Jesus telling us what it will be like.

Matthew 24:38 "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,"

Matthew 24:39 "And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

Mankind will not know what is happening to them until it is to late, for it just doesn't matter to them. They have their traditions which are their security blanket such as their rapture theory, and the warnings from the Word of God just doesn't matter to them. To the men and women on earth these strangers from the galaxy are really something special to them, and the fathers will think it a privilege to have their daughters marry one of these supernatural beings. People go crazy over superstars in our age, then what are they going to do when Satan and all these fallen angels called Nephilim arrive in their super-advanced vehicles.

There will be another influx of fallen angels that will come, but there will not be offspring from them this time. There will not be enough time for children to be born. The time span for these Nephilim to be on earth is five months for that is the time of the locust spoken of in Revelation 9:5, 10.

So what God is telling Moses and the Israelites, is that they must cleanse that which is unnatural that is among them, and that was what most of these foreign nations that possess the promise land were, unnatural. These Jebusites built their capital in a place called Jebus, which many years later David and his men would take over and change the name to Jerusalem.

Deuteronomy 7:2 "And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:"

When the Israelites went into the land, God instructions are very clear. "Utterly destroy them and thou shalt make no covenant with them", means to kill them all and don't even stop to discuss nor negotiate with them before the battle. You don't make a covenant with an enemy.

Deuteronomy 7:3 "Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son."

It is time to sharpen up and mature in the Word. "Neither shalt thou make marriages with them...", is a statement that simply cannot be misunderstood. It would be wrong for God's people to have intermarriage with these people. It is wrong in God's eyes and very unnatural. God created each race as He wanted them, each kind after their own kind.

Deuteronomy 7:4 "For they will turn away thy son from following Me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly."

Did you hear what Father said here? The end result of making a covenant with these people would be intermixing with these people that the covenant was with. When the sons and daughters start mixing with the other races, love and other attachments of bonds come in, and before long, they end in marriage. From these marriages come children and when the children are born, the problems enter in, as to which church or religion will the child be brought up in.

Once the children of Israel have intermarried with the Canaanites, Jebusites or what ever the race, it will not be long until the offspring of the Israelites will be forced into worshipping as the Canaanite mother or father desires, even if their god is a stick, or the stars. It would not be to many generations to where God will be completely set aside, and His people will be falling down to worship in a manner that only God knows what the form of religion. Remember what Moses taught in the last chapter, Our God is a jealous God, and He will simply not put up with it.

You can see what is happening today as the many emigrants enter our land from all over the world with their heathen gods and religious forms. The Christian church systems try to entice them by opening their doors not only to these people but their religious forms also. We see the eastern religious forms taking on a new coat of white wash, and presenting that mixture as something spiritual. They even find a verse of two that can be so manipulated to where they can say the bible endorses their new teaching.

We have seen where the rapture doctrine has progressed from the evil vision of a mentally ill woman, to be dressed up and supported by two pastors. When this dogma entered the states it was white-washed in several schools of divinity, and then presented to the Christian church as something spiritual. They even have found several verses that they can twist to make their product believable, and much of the church world bought the whole package. This damnable lie is placing Christians off guard in our generation, and causing them to become disarmed for the spiritual battle that is coming very shortly when Satan and his Nephilim come to earth. It took basically four generation for this fairy-tale of an evil nightmare to be accept as something of God.

Do you now see why God has demanded that the Israelites not negotiate with His enemies, but destroy all of them along with their idols and goods. When you start mixing the pure law of God and His statutes and commandments with any of the enemies religious thought, you end up with nothing but religious slop, not fit for the pigs. This is what happens in religion no matter what the period of time is. Christianity is not a religion, but a reality in living your life. As you mature in our Father's Word you then live that reality.

We are in the end times, and in many lands around the world an entire generation is being lost, and destroyed. We are in the end times generation.

Deuteronomy 7:5 "But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire."

Moses is telling the children of Israel, this is exactly what you are going to do when you enter into their lands. In all the land that God has given to the children of Israel, these altars, images and groves will not exist in any form. They are to be broken down completely and everything that will burn, must be burned. There will be no holding back for any reason, but complete destruction of all their religious artifacts. Don't make trouble outside the land that I have given you, but on your land, you shall not have any of their religious forms, junk and their false systems.

Deuteronomy 7:6 "For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto Himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth."

The reason that God called these people of the twelve tribes of Israel to be His chosen people was that the promised Messiah would come through them. Then after the coming of the Messiah, Jesus the Christ; after His sacrificial death and resurrection, salvation would be open to all peoples. Even the soul of a hybrid mixture can find salvation when they have their spiritual eyes opened, and when they come to Christ by faith and repentance in Jesus name. But the fallen angels will not, for their minds will be closed.

Deuteronomy 7:7 "The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:"

In the beginning when Abraham was chosen, he was told that the Christ child would come through His descendants, through Isaac and his son Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel. God did not chose us because we were the largest population of all peoples, but because of the purpose that He had for us.

Deuteronomy 7:8 "But because the Lord loved you, and because He would keep the oath which He had sworn unto your father, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt."

Moses was reminding these Israelites, which includes all of the tribes that the only reason that the Lord loved you and brought you out of Egypt, was because of an oath that He swore to father Abraham. That oath is eternal and was passed on to Isaac and to his son Jacob. Those promised blessings were passed on to Joseph's two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh in Genesis 48:20, and would continue with Joseph's sons to the final generation.

Genesis 48:20 "And he [Israel] blessed them that day, saying, "In thee shall Israel bless, sayig, `God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh:' " and he set Ephraim before Manasseh."

The Abrahamic covenant that God made with father Abraham was then passed on through Israel [Jacob] to Ephraim, however Manasseh will also be a major part of that covenant. We know from Genesis 49:10 that Judah [the Jews] were given the scepter, which is the right to rule and make the laws of the land.

Deuteronomy 7:9 "Know therefore that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God, Which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations;"

Our heavenly Father is the creator of all things and he is faithful to His own. We fall short many times, yet He continually forgives us and sets us on our path. God's faithfulness is sure through this entire earth age of the flesh, for there will not be a thousand generation before His coming and this earth age comes to an end. God's promise to be faithful to you is committed well into the eternity, for when we consider from Adam to Christ is only seventy seven generation, we see that there has been less than two hundred generation from Adam to Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of England who has a definite linage that can be traced back through David, Abraham to Adam.

God will not go back on His Word, which is His promise, His covenant. God loves you because He is God and the Father of all. You are His child and it doesn't matter which tribe you are from, or which race you are from, you are God's child because He created your soul in our earth age. Then He placed your soul within the body you are now living in. However, in Christ everyone that has the eyes to see and the ears to hear with understanding, that opens their heart to Him will be saved. Remember the lesson that God gave to Peter in the sermon to Cornelius the centurion, when the sheets were lowered with all sorts of wild beasts? The lesson to Peter was not as many teach today, that you can break the health laws; but those people that Christ has cleansed, you can not call common. If God blesses and saves a person no matter what his race, you cannot call that person common or heathen any more.

Acts 10:15 "And the voice spake unto him again the second time, "What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common."

God prepared Peter through this vision to take the Word of God and the promise of salvation to all the races. What God considers His, we simply do not have the right to hold in a low esteem. We are all equal in the eyes of God and persons that are undeserving of salvation. We are made deserving to the heavenly Father through the blood of Christ which was shed on the cross. All mankind now has the opportunity to believe on Jesus and be saved. God loves them because He is God, the Creator and Father of their souls.

Deuteronomy 7:10 "And repayeth them that hate Him to their face, to destroy them: He will not be slack to him that hateth Him, He will repay him to his face."

God is promising the man that says that he hates God a face to face meeting with Him. Then that person can tell God to His face what He thinks, and you can be assured that he will then be destroyed by God. This is a warning to each of us, Don't tempt God. God is the one that has the clay of your life in His hand, and He is the one that decides what you will be made into, and it you should be destroyed or not. When some idiot says, "I hate God, or there is not God", they are walking on pretty thin ice. God is telling you here exactly what they can expect. God "will repay him to his face". God will repay them and nail them with failure. This is a promise from God, and He keep His promises.

The choice is yours, for you are the one that chooses whether you will follow God, or reject Him. When you turn to God, you can rely on His promises, and when you turn away from God, He will repay you in kind. You must do it for yourself.

Deuteronomy 7:11 "Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them."

It is pure stupidity to say that the commandments and statutes and judgments of God's Word are not in affect, when every city and governing body in the Christian world are build on and run by the laws and commandments of God. Walk up to a police officer or city official and tell them that the law is not in affect, and see his reaction. He will consider you some sort of nut, or an out and out criminal. The laws of our land are all based on the laws of the bible, and they are all in affect. Moses is commanding us that we shall therefore keep the commandments and the statutes and the judgments which he has given to us. The law is the school master, and most people have not been to God's school yet.

If you become a thief, you will be punished as a common thief. If you break any of the laws or statutes of your community, you will face the punishment that your violation of that law brings. If you commit a cold calculated murder, you can expect capital punishment for the payment of your crime, yes even after you have repented of that crime and come to know Jesus. When Christ went to the cross, He paid the price that when you repent you will be forgiven in the books of heaven. Christ's death on the cross fulfilled the blood sacrifice ordinances, and only them. However, many times even upon repenting, there will still be a price to be paid for the violation of God's laws while you are living in the flesh here on earth. You break the health laws and eat scavenger foods, and things not fit for human bodies, then it is your health that pays the price. If you speed through a school zone, even after your repentance there is a fine to pay.

The law and the statutes given by God through Moses are given as types for governing our community and society that we live in. The statutes and ordinances are adopted for the times that we live in, but the commandments are firm for all generations. The blood sacrifices and ordinances were all fulfilled in Christ on the cross, and thus there is not a need any more for the holy of holies, but through Christ and our faith in Him we can go directly to the Father for repentance, and direction. Remember that what Moses said in this chapter, as well as in chapter six is what you are to teach your children. It is the same thing that you teach adults only on a higher level. You teach on the level of understanding of the person being taught.

Deuteronomy 7:12 "Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which He sware unto thy fathers:"

When you see the little word, "if" it sets a condition to what the promises are. It requires something on your part. That condition requires that you are going to have to do something in order to receive the promises that God is making to you. It requires that you hear with understanding the judgments and keep them in your mind continually, "and do them". There are three important facts that are part of our Father's Word that we must follow. Again those things are: To hear God's Word with understanding, to keep them in our mind, and then to follow those instruction in our lives.

The "mercy" is the part where Christ comes into this promise. God's mercy to all sinners comes when by faith a person believes on the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, and that He shed His blood on the cross for a covering for your sin. That is why you pray in Jesus name, for when you say, "in Jesus name", you are accepting Christ's sacrifice, death and resurrection as the payment covering for your sins. Jesus name is the only name that Christ will accept as the way or authority to approach His throne, for you are identifying yourself with Christ.

Some people wonder why God never blesses them. They know the promises of God, and yet they try to claim those promises without keeping the conditions that God set forth in this verse. They forget that God expects a commitment on their part. "If ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them", they just overlook their duties. They think that God owes them something, and that God is somebody they can order around.

Have you ever read the commandments, or do you understand what they mean? Have you told our Lord that you love Him lately? What have you done for Him that would cause Him to bless you? When God's promises have a condition attached to them, God expects you to do your part to receive those blessings. If you are under the mercy of God, which is to say the shed blood of Christ, than God promises that He will take care of you, but it requires faith on your part.

Deuteronomy 7:13 "And He will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: He will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which He sware unto thy fathers to give thee."

This verse has come to pass, and we are now living in that land that is flowing with the increases that God promises. God has blessed our nation and the other Christian nations with increases in our children, in the products off the land, and the increases from our cattle ["kine"], sheep and all the other wealth of our land. America is blessed by God, and is able to feed the peoples of the world. Today there are many that live within the fruitful boundaries of our land, and have never considered the "if" conditions that God placed on His promises. God said "I will love you, and keep you, and cause you to multiply", but the "if" is more than your just saying, "I love Jesus". However that is the first step, the first sip of spiritual milk from God's Word. God expects us to study His Word and be doers of His Word.

What ever greatness that we have in our land is because God has showered His blessings on our land for the respect that we give to Him.

Deuteronomy 7:14 "Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male female barren among you, or among your cattle."

God's blessings continue to come to us, and when there is barren amongst us, it is because of our own negligence. Moses is saying that we cause the problems that come our way by the things we do, and the decisions that we make. When we violate God's ways we can expect to have the problems in our health, the erosion of our lands, and the problems within our families. However, when we are in turn with God's Word and strive to do things His way, He will bless you. Things can be falling apart all around you, yet God will bless you for the commitment that you make for yourself to His ways.

Deuteronomy 7:15 "And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee."

Think about what this verse is saying for a moment. If you follow the instructions that God gave you in His Word, He promises you good health, and freedom from sickness and disease. He will take those diseases of the day, and turn them upon those that hate you. This is why vengeance belongs to God, for if there is someone that hates you for trying to live according to God's Word, and he or she trying to cause you mischief; God will make things right for you. God can read their mind and He knows the mischief that they are planning against you, and God will place their mischief double right back on their own heads.

If someone hates you, forget it, you don't have to take them out of your life, for God said, I will bring the plague right down on their own heads. Remember what some of the plagues were that were in Egypt? They dealt with sores over their entire body, the causing of their water to be so polluted so that it was undrinkable, pests and varmints took over their fields and crops, and even the losing the life of their first born. God knows how to get your enemies attention and heap his wrath right down upon his own head. These promises and commitments have been in existence from Moses day, and prior, and they are just as real to us today living in this final generation. Remember this is what God told Moses to pass on to the people and have them teach it to their children for a thousand generations.

God blesses this nation because of the commitment to God of our forefathers, and He will destroy all those nations that come against us, if we are tending to His Word. God has kept our enemies off our shores, and He will continue to do so, as long as we are committed to Him. To those that are trying to destroy the followers of Christ in our nation, God will take care of them also. Everything that is happening today is part of God's overall plan, and it will take place exactly as God said it would.

Deuteronomy 7:16 "And thou shalt consume all the people which the Lord thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee."

This is a direct order from God to the Israelites standing before them, that they are not to compromise with any of the people living in the land that God is going to give to you. It is just as important today as it was in all the generation up to our time. Today we have sunk to a new low in most Christian systems, for the systems are trying to do are to compromise with everyone just to get along. Compromise brings perversion into your church, and when Christ comes to destroy, you and your church will be part of the destruction because of the perversion you allowed to enter.

God loves every sinner if they convert to His Son. It is up to the individual to which side he chooses, God or Satan. If you fool around with strange and heathen religious forms and traditions, you can expect that it will bring God's wrath upon you. He promised you here that it would. God said; "for that will be a snare unto thee", for the "snare" is a trap to entangle you to where there is no escape. When you fool around with any form of religions and traditions that go against God's Word, it will leave you open to the plagues that God said He would bring on those that do. When you play with fire, you will be burned.

Deuteronomy 7:17 "If thou shalt say in thine heart, `These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?' "

If you will say and fix in your mind to the point of believing it that you cannot do what God said that you can do, than you are showing God that you have no faith in Him.

Deuteronomy 7:18 "Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the Lord thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt;"

Moses is telling us that if you need a confidence builder as to whether God keeps His promise, than look to what God did to Pharaoh, and to all of Egypt. God is the same today as He was when He killed the first born in all of Egypt. God hasn't changed one bit, not in His Word, nor in keeping His promises. This gets back into the point of tempting God by your land of faith, and the first place where it shows in your life is your murmuring and complaining. If your heart and life is set on the ways of the Lord, and your faith is strong, there will be no murmuring for you know God is in control of it all. If God said that He will take care of you, He will: so stop your doubting over His promises.

Deuteronomy 7:19 "The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the Lord thy God brought thee out: so shall the lord thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid."

Moses told us to tell our children, that when you fall under temptation to doubt God, than look back at Pharaoh. Look back at the frogs that covered the land, and all the other signs and wonders that God did for our forefather. Focus on the mighty hand and the outstretched arms of our heavenly Father, whereby God brought our forefathers out of their bondage.

If you are afraid of anything today, God is assuring you that you do not have to be. However, you do have to be a doer of His Word. A doer doesn't sit back and wait on the world to come to him or her, but a doer of God's Word prepares Himself or herself to what ever may come. When God comes into your heart, you will not be a pushover to those that live in the ways of this world. A true Christian does not allow themselves to be a walking mat for those of this world, because he knows how God's Word build a foundation under him to be solid in their life. He knows when to make a stand, and when to walk away.

Deuteronomy 7:20 "Moreover the Lord thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed."

Moses is reminding the people of what happened concerning the hornets, as recorded in Exodus 23.

Exodus 23:27 "I will send My fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee."

Exodus 23:28 "And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites, from before thee.

Exodus 23:29 "I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee."

God allowed these heathen to remain in the land to work the land and keep the wild beasts off the land until the appointed time of the Israelites entry. Then after the forty years, and just prior to the tribes crossing over Jordan, God used the hornets to drive the Hivites, the Canaanites and the Hittites out of the promise land gladly. God first put terror in their minds of these heathen, to where all it took was the sting of a hornet to get the enemy running to where they would never look back. The "hornet" became the the royal symbol. When they finally entered into the land, we see from Joshua 24:12, that God did sent the hornets, and the enemy was on the run. God used the natural form of doing things in His nature to carry out His Word.

Deuteronomy 7:21 "Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible."

God is mighty and a God to be feared [terrible]. We are not the ones to fear God, but it is our enemy that is the one to fear God. Our emotion to the Father is reverence and our pure love for Him.

Deuteronomy 7:22 "And the Lord thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee."

God did not put out all the nations at one time, but gradually. God is telling the people through Moses, as you learn to handle what He gives you, He will give you more. You will take it over a little bit at a time. If God gives you to much it will overwhelm you, and destroy you. The beast of the field today could be fame, money, or even time. When you find to much within your grasp, and have no way of using it properly, it will destroy you.

Deuteronomy 7:23 "But the Lord thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed."

If God is on our side, is simple doesn't matter what war we go into, or how many nations are against us, we will have the victory. If God is on your side, it doesn't matter who is against you or what they say, for God will use their own words to come down double on their own heads.

As long as the fighting men of our nation are left alone to fulfill their mission within the bounds of God's Word, we will have victory. However, when our military forces are tampered with, and things like Sodomy and other filth of perversion are allowed in its ranks, we are in trouble and God will not give us the victory. If you move perversion within the fighting force of the land, there will be confusion and the focus of the job at hand will be removed. However when God is with you, you will not fall into the enemies hands. God is in control, and when there is a danger within the ranks we are to pay attention to it, and sound the alarm or we will be destroyed.

Deuteronomy 7:24 "And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them."

In God there is victory every time.

Deuteronomy 7:25 "The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God."

Their images and idols are an abomination to God, and when you fool around with their heathen gods and idols it brings God's curses down upon you.

Deuteronomy 7:26 "Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it; and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing."

When Achen took that Babylonian Baal priest's robe and put it on and took it into his tent, along with the other things of silver and gold, he became an abomination not only to his family, but to the entire nation of Israel. The record of this is recorded in Joshua 7, and because of one man's actions, many men were killed and the battle was lost. Achan's actions brought the curses of God down on the children of Israel, and there was only one way to pleas God and remove the curse. That was to destroy the man and all that he had.

Achan revealed his sin to Joshua in verse twenty one; "When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment [of a Baal priest], and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I covented them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it."

What seemed harmless and great to Achan brought a curse to all of Israel, and the loss of the battle of Ai. There was only one way to lift the curse and Joshua did what was necessary.

Joshua 7:24 "And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor."

The rest of the family became part of the sin when they witnessed what was happening, and they did nothing about it.

Joshua 7:25 "And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the Lord shall trouble thee this day." And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones."

This was the righteous thing to do to please our Lord, and when they killed the family of Achan, and destroyed the idolatrous items, God lifted the curse. Joshua and his army went back to Ai, the little town that defeated the Israelites, and God gave them the victory.

Friend, you don't take religions and religious forms and mix them with the things of God, and bring them into the house of God. Praise God Christianity is not a religion, but it is a reality. We are not to play church in this end generation, nor fool around with the things that God says that He hates. When you pick up ornaments and the little ways of the heathen it becomes more than just that little thing. If you get those little trinket idols of the heathen, melt it down and change it from the form that it was in, or God will curse you while it is in your midst. Don't keep the cursed thing in your house, which is part of Baal worship.
