Chapter 10

"THE MAN OF THE EARTH (PARTICULAR)."
"The LAWLESS ONE, ACTS [7-10]."

This chapter is a continuation from chapter nine, and is talking about the time of the Antichrist's reign here on earth. We know this because of the linkage of the irregular acrostics that are given within this chapter, and the details that are given within the Massorah that are outlined in the Companion Bible. In the King James Bible version these keys to understanding were left off, for whatever their reasons. Thank God that there are men that still call these facts to our attention. So we will continue in this study to follow the text from the prior chapter, for those with eyes to see, for an understanding of the "the man of the earth" [Antichrist].

Psalms 10:1 "Why standest Thou afar off, O Lord? Why hidest Thou Thyself in times of trouble?"

When are these times of trouble that this prophet David is asking about? Of course it is the time of the end, as given by Christ in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, as well as many other places in the Scriptures. There is a reason that God has hid these things from those that do not have eyes to see and ears to hear with understanding those things that are coming to pass in our generation. Remember that Christ said in Matthew 24:4-5; "And Jesus answered and said unto them, "Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My name, saying, 'I am Christ;' and shall deceive many."

Paul told us that Antichrist will come before the True Christ, II Thessalonians 2:3-5; "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition [Satan in the role of Antichrist]," [3] "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." [4] "Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?" [5]

The false prophet will come first, and today there are many false prophets, deceivers that come in the name of the Lord, but they teach Antichrist (to go with the first Christ that appears). They do their teaching in ignorance. We are in that time of trouble today.  David is saying, bring on your return dear Lord, even though He will not come until that appointed moment, the plea is that the time will come quickly.

Psalms 10:2 "The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: Let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined."

The world has imagined this one world system, and all the devices that will lock you into prisons of persecution. It was stated before that they would be taken in their own trap in verses 15 -17 of Psalms 9. Satan is the wicked one, and it was through his pride that his fall came. Ezekiel 28:17 "Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee." Satan allowed pride to come up within himself, and in the end it will destroy him. Sure, we are to take care of our appearance within ourselves, but not take pride that would remove and put God into the background in our lives. The Lord deserves all the honor and credit for all the abilities and gifts that he has placed within our beings.  When you take the credit through our pride for the things that belongs to God then that is sin and our pride will set us up for the fall.

Psalms 10:3 "For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, And blesseth the covethous, whom the Lord abhorreth."

The "wicked" or wicked one, is Satan, and he boasteth of his "soul's [heart's] desire". You see it every day in all walks of life, those that like to boast about themselves and brag themselves up for the things that belong to the Lord. God doesn't like it, and there is a time of accounting for their actions. Only those that understand the true salvation are the ones that are to be blessed, yet many boast in their mind that God has blessed them, as they in pride, seek the desires of their own hearts. They will seek to please the Antichrist, not the true Jesus at his arrival and the Lord abhorreth each of them.

Psalms 10:4 "The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts."

This again is speaking of Satan, for he is the wicked one. and through the price of his beauty he will never seek after God. God will never be in his thoughts because because of the boastfulness of his heart. This is the root of communism, and the way that the world is thinking today, that, "There is no God." That is the basis of the communist world, that prideful man is the source of all blessings, and because of this thought, their entire empire fell. Communism is a tool of Satan, and it is what the world is leaning towards today in the new world order. Very shortly this political system will fall, and out of its ruin will come the religious system that will they will give themselves in ignorance to the false Christ. The first savior to come is Antichrist, and through the rapture theory the world is being taught to accept Satan as the true Christ. Their Jesus is the "instead of Jesus", Satan the Antichrist.

Psalms 10:5 "His ways are always grievous; Thy judgments are far above out of his sight: As for all his enemies, he puffeth at them."

We are the enemies of Satan, and we are despised by him and all those that are within his realm. Anytime you teach the truth, there will be trouble aimed at you for letting the light shine on the darkness of Satan's realm.

Psalms 10:6 "He hath said in his heart, "I shall not be moved: For I shall never be in adversity."

Throughout all the ages of time, Satan has said this. And in this day, there are many people that believe it.

Psalms 10:7 "His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: Under his tongue is mischief and vanity."

It is from his tongue that the mischief of babel [confusion] comes in these end times. It is Satan's babel that has moved into the very pulpit of most of the churches of today. Yet in all the deceit that is going forth, they still do not know the truth for their eyes are blinded. We are not to be angry with these people for God has blinded their eyes, our position is to ask God to forgive them for they do not know what they are doing. Yet we are to have no part in their vanity and wickedness, and separate yourselves from babel and those that take part in babel. True holiness is found in clarity and truth, and not in Satan nor baal for God is not the author of confusion.

Psalms 10:8 "He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: In the secret places doth he murder the innocent: His eyes are privily set against the poor."

It is Satan and those of his kingdom that set their traps in the towns and cities of this generation. The Kenites and those that take part in the secret places set their traps for against the poor and innocent. They lie in wait to steal and take advantage of the poor and elderly. They take their direction from Satan, the prince of darkness of this world age, and they do their wickedness with pride. Satan and his evil spirits lurk in hidden places to catch those unaware of his methods of operation. Satan doesn't have any trouble in taking the ignorant, but he has to plan his moves against God's elect.

Psalms 10:9 "He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: He lieth in wait to catch the poor: He doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net."

Satan and his evil spirit lies in wait just as a lion in wait in his den for those that are not aware of the dangers ahead. He waits to catch the weakest of the lot, and then springs his net and kills the prey. In Satan's case, his net is built around his lies and deception. Satan's cursings are, the greatest curse in the world is to call Satan, Jesus: For that act leads to the worship of Satan taking the place of Jesus, instead of the true Christ.

Psalms 10:10 "He croucheth, and humbleth himself, That the poor may fall by his strong ones."

Satan will come as a very humble person, and in that act of humility, those weak ones shall fall by the leading of Satan's strong ones, those fallen angels that shall be cast out of heaven with him by Michael. Revelation 12:7-9 tells us of this event; "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels," [7] "And prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven." [8] "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." [9]

This is as Jesus told us in Mathew 24:37-38; "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." [37] "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark," The fallen angels will be the "strong ones" to lead the weak in these end times. Those strong ones are coming again, and this world is not prepared for the surprise and great deception that they will bring with them. It is simply not being taught by from the pulpits of this nation, for Satan's theories and traditions have replaced the Word.

Psalms 10:11 "He hath said in his heart, "God hath forgotten: He hideth his face; He will never see it."

Verse 11 connects directly to verse 4; "The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts." God is real and He doesn't miss anything. The time is coming when all will be accounted for.

Psalms 10:12 "Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up Thine hand: Forget not the humble."

David is crying out; "Don't forget the afflicted."

Psalms 10:13 "Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? He hath said in his heart, "Thou wilt not require it."

The wicked are saying that it just doesn't matter to God and He will not investigate.

Psalms 10:14 "Thou hast seen it; for Thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with Thy hand: The poor committeth himself unto Thee; Thou art the helper of the fatherless."

This sets the time in the prophetic sense; There is a time when all people and nations of this world will accept Satan as their father. The "fatherless" are those that do not claim the father of the world which is a false god. Though it appears that God's elect are the fatherless, however we have the True Father. The people of the world in that day will be proud to claim Satan as their father, and they will do it in ignorance.

The world will proudly take part shortly in Satan's wedding feast, and as recorded in Revelation 18:7-8; "How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, `I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.' " [7] "Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God Who judgeth her." [8] The point for us to remember is that we do not take part in that feast of Satan.

Psalms 10:15 "Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: Seek out his wickedness till thou find none."

In other words, remove that wickedness from the earth. That is pointed out in Revelation 18:8, as stated above.

Psalms 10:16 "The Lord is King for ever and ever: The heathen are perished out of His land."

This is given stronger in a national sense because the Lord, Yashuah is returning to this earth as the King of kings and Lord of Lords. He shall reign for ever and ever and there shall be no end. This time is given in detail in Revelation 19:11-16. In verse 16; "And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." Then this one world system that Satan will have rule over will come to a complete destruction. Christ shall return and reign as king of kings.

Psalms 10:17 "Lord, Thou hast heard the desire of the humble: Thou wilt prepare their heart, Thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:"

God is going to establish or make secure in your heart and mind all of the truth. We will not have to be told truths for we will have those foundations planted in our minds and we will not have to ask our neighbor for the truth. God will cause your ear to hear, if you seek His truth from God, you will come to the understanding of it. We have to ask for it first, and He will open our ears to understanding it. God will open your eyes also, and you will have the eyes to see those events that His Word has warned us about in these latter days. That is a gift of God to you just for the asking. In a sense, that right was earned by God's election by the stand they took before the foundations of this earth age, as recorded in Ephesians 1:4-6.

Psalms 10:18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may no more oppress." To the chief Musician.

This "man of the earth" that we have studied in this chapter, is the "lawless one"; he is Satan. This verse ends the acrostic leading us to the understanding of the antichrist who is Satan. These hidden truths are hidden within the acrostics of these two Psalms of chapters nine and ten. It is the truth given to the final generation. It is written for you and I living in these times of the end, and we had better open our eyes to each of these truths. The generation we now live in, will enter into the new kingdom of Jesus Christ upon His return. He is coming as the "KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS". The Companion Bible has laid out these truths for us, and thank God for eyes that see with understanding.

To the chief Musician.
