"Israel's Redeemer and His Work."

Israel's Redeemer is Yeshua Messiah, Jesus the Christ. This chapter is about Jesus' Work written "to the chief Musician". This is "Michtam of David" the golden Psalm, and a continuation of Psalms 57.

Psalms 58:1 "Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? Do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?"

This word "congregation" is incorrectly translated, for in the Hebrew text it reads "elem" meaning "O faction". So as you read this, think of those human judges that act and are dumb when they ought to speak and make a difference to justice; and are deaf when they ought to listen and hear the troubles that are before them. They become part of the problem, rather than judge righteously. Sure there are some judges that are very wise and do make a difference, but this is addressing the "elem", those that are not. This is also talking in a religious sense. "Do ye indeed speak righteousness, ye silent and mute judges? Do you judge uprightly in all your decisions, ye sons of Adam?"

Psalms 58:2 "Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; Ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth."

In your mind you work wickedness; and you deal out violence with your hands in the earth because of your silence to righteousness. Stop for a moment and look at the laws of wickedness and perversion that are being defended by the judges of today. They refuse to speak out on those things that are right, and allow wickedness to go unnoticed and unpunished. By your judgment you allow violence to continue, allowing the wicked to think that they can get away with all sorts of wickedness. This is definitely pointing to our generation, as the world stage is being set for the coming of the Antichrist, and all the wickedness and deception that will come with him.

Psalms 58:3 "The wicked are estranged from the womb: They go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies."

The wicked are lawless from the womb, there is no spiritual training from their youth, and they have no spiritual direction in their life. They, those Kenites, speak lies from their early life because that is the nature of their parents. Though this is aimed at the Kenites, it also applies to most of the population. Kids grow up watching mom and pop doing it, and it seems right to them.

John 8:44 "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

Satan is the father of lies, and the murderer and first born of the father of lies was Cain. So why do the Kenites, those judges do what they do as they sit on their benches? That is what their fathers did, and all the way back to the first father of lies, Satan. Jesus could look right through them when they stood before Him, and read their minds as they thought their murderous thoughts to kill him.

This army that was chasing David were his own people. They were deceived by this Doeg, and the lies told about David by his won grandfather. Today people have grown up with very little knowledge where they came from, or whether or not they are from the house of Israel. In fact most preachers don't know the difference between the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Many of them call the house of Israel, Jews in their ignorance. If their pastors are ignorant, no wonder they are lost from the womb of their identity.

Psalms 58:4 "Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: They are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear."

The poison of these judges is like the poison from a serpent, because many of their ancestors come from the Serpent, from Satan through Cain in the garden of Eden. An adder is a snake, and they are deaf like a dead snake. Why, they come from the snake in the garden of Eden. They simply do not have ears to hear anything spiritual from God's Word, because God has made them deaf concerning truth..

Psalms 58:5 "Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, Charming never so wisely."

You can try to take the richest truth from God's Word and try to charm that snake back into spiritual reality, and it will not be possible. You can take that path of righteousness that Jesus laid out for us, and it is non-sense to them. They just do not see the way, nor do they care. I doesn't matter how cunning you try to be to present the gospel to them, in most cases it is impossible without the opening of their minds by the Holy Spirit.

Psalms 58:6 "Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: Break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord."

That is one way to shut up a person's mouth quickly, just break their teeth in their mouth. The Heavenly Father will break their power at Christ's return, then each of them will be put in their own place. Their mouths will be quieted.

Now verse 7 starts a different thought as sets up an imprecation or curse on those that would use their position unrighteously.

Psalms 58:7 "Let them melt away as waters which run continually: When he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces."

Let the just disappear like water vapor on a hot day. Let them be mowed down like the grass. Remember the spiritual armor from Ephesians 6:10-20? What is you armor to be protection you from? That's right, the fiery darts of Satan, those wicked lies and deceptions that Satan will use of bring your soul down. Satan's lies don't hurt you when you have on the true Gospel of God, and your mind is fixed on His true Word.

Psalms 58:8 "As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: Like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun."

This is saying that just as a snail melts, let them melt into slime. Let them be like the untimely birth of a woman, the miscarriage that takes life from a child. This is a strong curse put on those judges that would act unrighteously while sitting on their bench and turning their eyes from the truth, and give a hand to continue unrighteous under their bench. God is displeased with them, and in time each of them will be accountable to Father for all wickedness that they have allowed to happen while sitting in that seat of responsibility.

Psalms 58:9 "Before your pots can feel the thorns, He shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath."

First realize that the "thorns" make one of the hottest fires that can burn, so it should read; "Before your cooking pots can feel the heat of the thorns burning, He shall take them away with a whirlwind, both living and in His wrath." At that seventh trump that is not far away, That is exactly what will happen, as the wrath of God comes upon the earth and makes all wrong right. On that day when we are gathered back to Jesus, those fires shall burn in Jerusalem and in Hammon-gog. That great valley in Alaska which is not inhabited, where God will bury those that are against His people. God records this in Ezekiel 39, and He will destroy those people that come against His people. It shall happen.

Psalms 58:10 "The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked."

The righteous shall rejoice on that day when our Lord returns, and takes his vengeance out on those that would seek after the Antichrist and do wickedness in this earth age of the flesh. God warned them in His word, and they would not listen nor pay attention to those warning. We will rejoice when we see God making things right. Though they will not be in their flesh bodies at that time, their spirits will feel the shame and the pain for what they have done. We will know exactly then who we have served, and they will see their wickedness in serving Satan even in ignorance. There will be no way that you could walk through the earth without having the blood of the wicked on your feet. It will be world wide and complete. It is coming my friend and this chapter is warning you. Again, this is spoken in a spiritual sense.

Psalms 58:11 "So that a man shall say, "Verily there is a reward for the righteous: Verily He is a God That judgeth in the earth."

"To the chief Musician, Al-taschith=destroy not."

This is telling you that it will pay to be right, and righteous. In the first verse we saw how man judges, with a slant decision, and slight of hand, and blind eye to the truth. In the final verse of this chapter, we see that God is the judge of the earth, and all those that misused their office will be accountable to God for what ever wickedness that did while using their office for their own gain. That day of accountability is coming, and there is a judge that can read the mind of those human judges. There will not be one evil and wicked deed that will be overlooked, and there had better be some repenting going on before that day. Our God is a righteous God, yet there is forgiveness when there is confession and repentance at the cross of Christ.

Stop and think of those wicked deeds, taking a bribe, being silent when you know the truth is not being presented in your court room, allowing a righteous man to take the blame when you know he is innocent, supporting and building up the evil doer, and I'm sure you can name or have seen many other things go on in courtrooms to allow wickedness go unpunished or allowing a righteous man take the blame. When the true Judge come very shortly, you will see true judgment and there will be no slight of hand, or plea bargaining at that time. What a beautiful Psalm for the righteous, for we know that all wickedness will be punished, and we do not have to worry about somebody getting away with anything.
