THE PSALMS

Chapter 72

"Israel's Redemption. The Answer to Psalms 69-71."

"A Psalm for Solomon"; This Psalm is the the last Psalm in that section that is related to the book of Exodus, that was written by Moses. Remember that all of the Psalms are divided into five different sections or groups, each relating to and bearing the names one of the five book of Moses. The Book of Exodus is the book of the coming out of captivity, and entering into the promise land. This is why this chapter is titled, "Israel's Redemption", or in other words, "Our redemption". It is the redemption of the followers of Yeshua Messiah, Jesus the Christ. The Psalms of 69-71 we read were the Psalms of the crying out to the Father for a redeemer, and this chapter is the answer to those cries for salvation.

Remember that "Solomon" was the king of peace. King Solomon was noted for his building of the Temple of God that God refuse to allow his father David to build. Though the title says, "A Psalm for Solomon", but this chapter is addressing another Son of David that would be the true King of Peace, Jesus the Christ. It is Jesus Christ that will rule on the earth very shortly. It is Jesus that we are looking forward to today, that will return at His second advent. The temple of our day is Christ, not some structure build by human hands, but it is built by God and made up of the many membered body of Christ. The temple of today is the body of Christ made up of every person that believes on Jesus Christ and has come to the Father the only way possible; under the blood of Christ in repentance. So this Psalm is looking forward to the coming of Messiah, our Redemption.

Psalms 72:1 "Give the king thy judgments, O God, And Thy righteousness unto the king's son."

Again, Solomon built the physical temple, but our Lord Jesus Christ is the temple of God. Both Jesus and Solomon were of the blood line of David.

Psalms 72:2 "He shall judge Thy People with righteousness, And Thy poor with judgment."

Jesus will give true judgment with righteousness in all His judgments, and to the poor, if it is deserved, that judgment will be rewards for services rendered. Judgment to any Christian is not negative, but is positive for it is payment for those that lived and served as God instructed us to live. When Jesus Christ paid the price on the cross, it made it possible that through repentance in Jesus' name, we can have this redemption [judgment].

Psalms 72:3 "The mountains shall bring peace to the people, And the little hills, by righteousness."

"The prosperity shall bring peace to the people", and even the small communities will benefit by Christ's righteousness. All prosperity and wealth will be given to His own, at the time of His return.

Psalms 72:4 "He shall judge the poor of the People, He shall save the children of the needy, And shall break in pieces the oppressor."

Jesus Christ will be a champion of the people, the poor of the people of this world age. This has nothing to do with the traditions of men that exist so strong today. Those that are put down and taken advantage of in this earth age, are going to be avenged. Nobody is going to get away with anything at the return of Jesus Christ. The "oppressor" spoken of here is Satan, and our Lord is going to break him into pieces at the close of the Millennium age. Satan will be turned into ashes, as well as all those that chose to follow him. The destruction of Satan's nation occurs only one time, and that is at the sounding of the seventh trumpet, when Jesus feet touch down on the mount of Olives, at His return to close out this earth age of the flesh. And He prepares the way for the elect, the first fruits to come to him.

Psalms 72:5 "They shall fear Thee as long as the sun and moon endure, Throughout all generations."

Of course David never thought Solomon would live for ever and ever, and never die, hardly, of course David was referring to Jesus Christ. The rule and power of Jesus will be for ever, world without end. We see here that these prophecies can only refer to our Lord Jesus Christ, and not to the David's son Solomon.

Psalms 72:6 "He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: As showers that water the earth."

Christ's rule shall come down from heaven like the rain upon the mown grass: to give life to all of it. When the rain come, it covers all the grass alike, not singling out a blade of grass here, and excluding other blades of grass. No it is complete to all the grass alike. As the water comes to the earth, the entire earth is refreshed by the showers. It gives a new life to everything that it touches. The latter day rain, of the truths of God's Word, is falling on the earth, on the ears of those with spiritual eyes to see and there is new spiritual life breathed into each of His children. Those that see and hear these truths need that latter day rain of truth to be able to make that stand on that day when they are delivered up, to allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them when Satan is ruling here on earth. Most of what is taught today, is a far cry from the truth, and is nothing more than man's tradition and false doctrine.

Psalms 72:7 "In his days shall the righteous flourish; And abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth."

Today in most cases, the righteous do not flourish or get ahead, however there is a day coming when all the righteous shall flourish, and each will receive their just rewards in that Millennium age. "Moon" as used here, should read "season". As long as that season of Christ's kingdom exists on this earth, their will be an abundance of peace. The unjust and wickedness just can not exist during that thousand year period. Stop and look around you, and the sins that are committed today, most all of them have something directly to do with these flesh bodies, and in that Millennium age, we shall all be changed from these flesh and blood, corruptible bodies, into our new incorruptible bodies as the angels have. Most of the things that cause sinning today will not be around, for even the element of sin will be gone.

II Peter 3:10 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements [evil rudiments] shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

The sins we commit today in these flesh bodies are caused in most part by the elements that go to make up this fleshly world age, and all the things that are made within our world age today. Galatians 4:1-6 tells us that as long as we are in this world age, we are bound by the elements that go to make up this world age. In verse three through five; "Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world [age]: But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the Law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons." Jesus Christ span of rule will be for ever.

Psalms 72:8 "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the river unto the ends of the earth."

"From sea to sea" is from the Mediterranean sea to the Persian Gulf. The trouble in this area today is ruled by ships and planes and guns focused on each other. When our Lord Jesus Christ comes to reign, those things of this earth age will all be gone, and there will be peace in Christ kingdom. There will be Christ's order from the river Euphrates, the Babylonian river of confusion, to the ends of the earth will all taste of our Lord's kingdom, and be subjects under the true King of Kings. There is no miracle when words go around the world any more, for modern technology makes the a common occurrence. We can sit on the couch in our living rooms and witness happenings all over the world.

Psalms 72:9 "They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; And his enemies shall lick the dust."

At the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ every one of our enemies will lick the dust, as they fall flat on their face in worship of the True Christ. Every knee shall bow to Jesus Christ at His coming.

Psalms 72:10 "The kings of Tarshish and the isles shall bring presents: The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts."

"Tarshish" is in reference to the wealth of the western world, while the "isles" is in reference to the coastal regions or maritime countries. Those dealing with trade and commerce. Sheba is to the east and south of Jerusalem, and all peoples of the earth will bring their gifts to Jerusalem. Sheba, in the Hebrew text means," of the oath of the seven". God has set aside His seven thousand that would not bend a knee to Baal, and that "seven thousand" is only an idiom for the real number, Romans 11 talks about the true number of Israel, including those that will be grafted in from the other nations, that will know and make their stand in that day. Unfortunately, most of that saving does not come to pass until the end of the Millennium age.

Psalms 72:11 "Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: All nations shall serve him."

On the first day of the Millennium age, every knee shall bow down to our Lord Jesus Christ. There will be no exception. Satan will be in the pit, and all evil rudiments will be gone. The full focus in the Millennium will be on God's Word, and keeping those ways. All people, or souls will be bringing gifts to Jesus, but remember also that it all belongs to Him anyway. It becomes a matter of obedience. God doesn't want our sacrifices but He desires our Love for Him. He has created our bodies and all that is in existence, and he deserves our love and honor to Him.

Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created."

Yes, God made it all and He controls it all, yet He as placed within His Word all the things that He will allow to happen. Sure He placed us on this earth, yet for those with spiritual eyes to see, He has also told us of those things that shall happen in our generation. There should be no confusion as to what is going on today, for all the conflict has religion at the basis of it all. One day, all religious will end, for the True Christ will be here and those traditions of men that are elevated in their religious circles will be exposed for what they are, trash, and all will see the truth.

Psalms 72:12 "For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; The poor also, and him that hath no help."

When you cry out to Him, He hears you and will be there to help you, when you ask Him for that help.

Psalms 72:13 "He shall spare the poor and needy, And shall save the souls of the needy."

Don't try to sell your soul short, for there is a real value there that is eternal, when you are in Christ.

Psalms 72:14 "He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: And precious shall their blood be in his sight."

God places the deceit ahead of violence. The deceit comes before the violence. When Satan comes there will be little violence, but the deceit will be great, for the only violence will be the two witnesses in the streets, that the entire world will be observing and giving celebration. the deceit will be so great that one third of the entire earth's population will be deceived by Satan. The deception of the end times has already begun, and it will be getting worse day by day. Through the hidden dynasty of education, our own children are being prepared to receive the deceit that will fall on the entire earth. This one worldism will end shortly in its political sense, but it will spring up in a new form of religion that will grip the entire earth. As these movements of the Kenites and their four hidden dynasties are moving to prepare the earth for their father Satan's return, most people calling themselves Christians are completely unaware of the deceit and spiritual violence that is going on right in their midst.

Psalms 72:15 "And he shall live, And to him shall be given of gold of Sheba: Prayer also shall be made for him continually; And daily shall he be praised."

This verse is a parallel to verse ten. This is the season of the seven, and He shall be praised by His own. This is that time written of in Isaiah 4:1, 2 when seven women shall go in unto one man.

Isaiah 4:1 "And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, "We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach."

Isaiah 4:2 "In that day shall the Branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel."

What this means is that this wife that is made up of Sheba, the seven thousand, will come in unto Yeshua Messiah, Jesus the Christ, the husband in a spiritual sense.

Psalms 72:16 "There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; The fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: And they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth."

This word "handful" in the Hebrew text, reads "abundance", and the "corn" is a "fine corn". This verse is stating that there will be an abundance of corn in the time of the end, and it will be enough to feed the nations. You see how the translators tore up this verse and changed it to something that just isn't there.

You never plant anything on a high ridge and expect it to grow and bear much fruit. No, you plant the plants in the valley or hill side where you have the rich soil and good bottom land, with much protection from the elements. So what David is telling us here is that even the very highest ridges themselves will be as fertile as the rich soil in the valleys. No, in that day of Christ's kingdom here on earth, there will be plenty for all.

Psalms 72:17 "His name shall endure for ever: His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in him: All nations shall call him blessed."

This speaks of Revelation 21, that time when the Godhead will be here with us, and we enter into that endless age of eternity where there will be no sin, and no sorrow. Then all of Israel will be within the walls of that holy city, that stretches our for miles as a cube.

Revelation 21:1 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."

This is following the Great White Throne judgment, where all that did not make the first resurrection will be judged by their works only from the Millennium age. Satan, and all those that chose to follow him will be turned to ashes and wiped from the minds of their loved ones, when this new heaven and new earth comes down to rest upon the earth. Everything of the first earth age will simple not exist in any form, not even in memory.

Revelation 21:2 "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from god out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

What a glorious time and sight for those that have put their trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 21:3 "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God."

Jesus Christ is that tabernacle of God that is with men at this time. He will be with us and we with him for all eternity.

Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for former things are passed away."

Friend the things of this earth age of flesh man, with its seasons, and wickedness and deceit and evil elements just will not exist any more. Take the time to go to Revelation 21, 22 and read how it shall be in that holy city in all eternity, and then compare it with whatever you face here on earth. Your troubles and problems will just fade away.

In that time we will see these nations of the ethnos coming with their kings to Jerusalem, all of them and giving praise and presence to Jesus Christ, the tabernacle that will be dwelling here on earth in that new heavenly kingdom. Those kings are the nations other than Israel, that will be saved also, and living in the eternity along with Israel. These ethnos kings and queens are the people living today that will make their stand against Satan, and not fall down to worship Satan as the Christ when he comes at the sixth trumpet. They shall reign over the people in the eternity, for making their stand in this age of the flesh.

Psalms 72:18 "Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things."

Those that make a stand, and know the truth in this earth age are going to be the ones that teach and judged in the Millennium age of Christ's kingdom. However those that desire to chase after the traditions of men will not make the first resurrection, but will have to prove themselves by their works in the Millennium. And then by judged and qualified for the second resurrection, following the judgment seat of the Father.

Revelation 20:13 "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works."

Many Christians will have given over their crowns to Satan because of their ignorance of the times they are living in, and worship Satan as the Christ. They will have to prove themselves in the thousand year Millennium age of Christ's kingdom. Then be judged by their works at the end of that period of time.

Revelation 20:14 "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."

"The second death" is the death of your soul, while the first death is the death of our flesh and blood body. It is the soul and spirit that shall be eternal.

Revelation 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

That is it, its over, there are no tomorrows for even the memory that you ever existed will be wiped clean from the minds of your loved ones, if you are not numbered with those, and your name found in the the book of life.

My friend, there is only one true Christ, however a false christ shall rise up coming first and in His name. If you are not paying attention to both, you will be taken in by the first, and then made to go through the Millennium age, to be tested and tried by your works whether you are worthy to be in the book of life at the close of the Millennium age, to enter into the eternity. It is up to you, and you have better know which Jesus you are going to bless in these end times. That knowledge is the seal that must be in your forehead, as recorded in Revelation 9:4, or you will be given over to the first christ Satan to follow him in ignorance.

Psalms 72:19 "And blessed be His glorious name for ever: And let the whole earth be filled with His glory; Amen, and Amen."

The reason that there is a double Amen, and Amen is that this concludes this second book within the book of Psalms. David wrote this Psalm for his son Solomon, about the Christ, also David's Son. He wrote it for his son Solomon who would be the one to build the earthly tabernacle, however the true Tabernacle would be Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
