We will continue to see how God used Moses and Aaron to lead His children, but it was God's arm that had the strength to lead and protect the children when it was necessary. The prior chapter was outside the Sanctuary, and it became easy to weep and cry and feel sorry for ones-self. But to us that come into the Sanctuary, we read and learn from those events of the past, for those events will be prophecy of how things will be in the time of the end. We are living in that end generation.

So as we study this Psalms 78, we will be outside the Sanctuary again, and address those that are outside God's will also. This Psalms is titled "Maschil of Asaph." "Maschil again means "instruction", And "Asaph" was one of the Prophets as given in Second Chronicles 29:30. This is saying that there is in-depth instruction in this chapter for you, and it is from "Asaph" meaning "he that gathers the congregation". This is the congregation of our heavenly Father. It is the instruction to God's congregation.

Psalms 78:1 "Give ear, O my People, to my law: Incline your ears to the words of my mouth."

The "words of our heavenly Father's mouth" are written in His Word, the Scriptures as given by the prophets and apostles. If you have ears to hear with understanding, then you are to listen to the instruction given in the law and follow it.

Psalms 78:2 "I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:"

This parable is very interesting for that is how Jesus taught. It is showing us divine history, history that was accomplished by divine intervention. This is instruction that is given and taken from those events like crossing the Red sea when it opened. It is like striking a rock and having a flood of fresh water come pouring out of the rock. It is lessons that we learn by studying those miracles of old when God lead and protected His congregation, the children of Israel. This divine history has far more instruction to each of us than what is given in those stories God's actions in times past. This is taking the Word from one level of a historical nature and seeing it on higher levels of understanding in a spiritual and prophetic nature.

Remember when the disciples asked Jesus, "Why speakest Thou unto them in parables?" The disciples witnessed Jesus giving these parables, and then saying "Who hath ears to hear, let him hear." In Matthew 13:11 Jesus said; "He answered and said unto them, "Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." It was not meant that those people standing and listening to Jesus should understand those parables.

Matthew 13:12 "For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath."

Matthew 13:13 "Therefore speak I to them in parables: Because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand."

Jesus continued telling parables to the people and then He and His disciples went away from the crowd, and Jesus told his disciples these words giving the reason that it was given here in Psalms 78:2.

Matthew 13:34, 35 "All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake He not unto them:" [34] "That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, "I will open my mouth in parable; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world." [35]

This is why our heavenly Father will speak in a parable in this Psalm 78, for it is given only to those with ears to hear with understanding. God has revealed those secrets that were kept secret from all mankind from the beginning of this world age of flesh man. It is talking about the tares, from the very garden of Eden, when the tares were planted among the wheat. Jesus continued on to tell us and those with ears to hear who those tares are, and who planted them in the first place. Then in describing the parables Jesus said:

Matthew 13:37 "He answered and said unto them [His disciples], "He that sowed the good seed is the Son of man [Jesus the Christ];"

Matthew 13:38 "The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;"

Remember this is explaining a parable, it is not a parable. It is telling you what the things in the parable represented. The "seed" spoken of here is number 4690 given in your Greek Strong's dictionary. Seed is "Sperma; something grown from the male sperm, an offspring." There are two sets of children given here, one set coming from man, as God through the Holy Spirit has created them. and the other set of people that were planted or conceived by the wicked one. Who is the "wicked one"? Of course it is Satan. So the bad seed, or tares were made when Satan and Eve conceived their child Cain in the garden of Eden. That can't be to hard to understand by a person with eyes to see. And don't spiritualize away the truths here if you want to understand all the truths Jesus is telling you through His parables.

Matthew 13:39 "The enemy that sowed them is the devil; and the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels."

All the details of this earth age of flesh man is given right here in a nutshell.

Matthew 13:40 "As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world [age of the flesh]."

If you have eyes to see, then you understand what Jesus has told us here, and if it makes no sense, then it is just not for you to understand. When this earth age of the flesh is over, and all are in their spiritual bodies as the angels have, and the time of testing and teaching is over in the Millennium age, then comes the fire. It is then that all the tares are gathered, and burned right along with Satan and all those that follow him.

It is very difficult to share this with the world today, for they will think you are crazy. However, there are many that God has called and separated to be witnesses with understanding, and they know the truth when it is revealed to them. That is your job as one of God elect. The expression "dark saying" means that they are deep and hard to understand by those with out eyes to see. They are not dark saying to those with eyes to see.

Psalms 78:3 "Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us."

We have heard and will come to know when our spiritual eyes were opened.

Psalms 78:4 "We will not hide them from their children, Shewing to the generations to their children:"

We will not hide the miracles and wonderful works that our heavenly Father has done from our children. These works are passed on from generation to generation all the way to our generation of these end times. All three levels are to be revealed to our children. The first level, the Historical, the second level that of spiritual in our lives, and of course the third level is the prophetic level as how it shall be in the end. Paul told us:

I Corinthians 10:11 "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples [examples], and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."

Those things that are written in the Old Testament are example of how it shall be at the end of this world age. They are used as parables to show us how this age of the flesh will end. We are living in that time, for the time of the end started when the Jews returned to establish their own nation in Jerusalem. We are well into that generation today. When the waters flowed over those footprints as the Red sea closed, those events live on in our minds as a remembrance as to how God will protect His own in our day.

Psalms 78:5 "For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children:"

The law and the commandments as Moses gave us should be passed on and taught just as God gave it to Moses with understanding.

Psalms 78:6 "That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; Who should arise and declare them to their children:"

This is how the law is to continue on to the final generation. By educating our children in the law and the commandments, as well as the instructions of the Prophets and Apostles until that day when our Lord returns at the seventh and last trumpet.

Psalms 78:7 "That they might set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments:"

The reason for educating our kids in the entire Word is; "that they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments." Outside of the law and the commandments, there can be nothing but confusion and violence. That trouble is growing more and more as the commandments and the law are being removed from our schools and the government. It is even reaching into most homes in our land.

The stage is being set and the change is about to begin. This Psalm will now inter into a time of forgetfulness. When those footprints are washed away, the people have a problem in remembering those things of the past. Though people have heard the truth many times told them from their childhood, they like to be forgetful.

Psalms 78:8 "And might not be as their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation; A generation that set not their heart aright, And whose spirit was not steadfast with God."

Our Heavenly Father is asking you; "Can't you learn by other people's mistakes? Why do you go out and make the same mistakes all over again." We will now look into the forgetfulness of our forefathers, and how they made the same mistakes over and over, from generation to generation. This is God's warning to you from His Word.

Psalms 78:9 "The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, Turned back in the day of battle."

"Ephraim" from Strong's Hebrew dictionary #669 means "double fruit". Ephraim was the son of Joseph, whom Jacob [Israel] adopted along with his brother Manasseh. Each of these sons of Joseph became tribes of Israel. This verse in Psalms calls attention that even when this tribe, leading the other tribes, and completely armed should have defeated the enemy many times, but was soundly beaten time after time. These events are recorded in Judges 12, 17, and 18. Even when they were completely armed then fell flat on their faces in battle. So why and how could this happen?

They were faithless. The liked to stray off into idolatrous forms of worship, picking up whatever those heathen tribes around them were doing in their worship. They just did not have faith in God to go before them in battle; the just couldn't remember. If your faith is not focused on the reality of our Heavenly Father in this earth, in our generation, you also will be in for a long battle. Christianity is not a religion, but a reality, one build on remembrance that our Heavenly Father is with us at all times. He is ready to go before us and do our battles for us. Father can move mountains, and change minds to give us the victories of everyday life. Sure, even though He can and will assist us in our times of need, it is up to each of us to have the faith to know it is a reality, and ask for the help that we desire to have. When you ask for the help with those thing that you can see, He takes care of those things that you can not see.

Even though you cannot see the footprints of the Israelites that walked through the Red Sea on dry ground, it is a reality. However many that call themselves Christians today say that they believe it, but in their minds they don't believe one word of it. It is dangerous to relate Scripture to fairy-tale land, and in their minds they reject what is written as truth from the Word of God, but at the same time create fairy-tales of fly-away doctrine that goes completely against the Word of God. Then they can't understand why God doesn't intercede in their everyday battles. Don't let your faith limit our Heavenly Father.

Psalms 78:10 "They kept not the covenant of God, And refused to walk in His law;"

God tells you exactly why He would not go before Ephraim in battle in Judges 12:1-6 for they forgot the commandments of God. They forgot the way that God laid out in His laws and commandments to do things, and went about doing things their own way.

Psalms 78:11 "And forgat His works, And His wonders that He had shewed them."

Even today that same covenant of the law exists, yet our people choose to ignore it and head down a path without God's set of instructions [His laws and commandments]. As they remove God and His commandments and laws from the schools, the government, and all parts of our lives, and even in many churches, they stand amazed at the results of life without God's laws and commandments. Our people have forgotten those wonders and mighty works of the past that were given as the results of Israel's faith, and they have lost sight of what happens when we leave God out of our lives. Keep in mind that most of our people don't even know who they are, not alone any of the history of God's dealing with our people. They just don't care what God intended them to do.

We are told in Revelation 7 that in the end generation, in our generation, twelve thousand of each tribe will be given eyes to see with understanding, and be taught the truth. Yet most Christians will reject the Word with all of it's prophecies and history, and chase after false doctrine, to be taught that they are going to fly away and not suffer what the Bible says will happen in these end times. They choose to be ignorant.

Psalms 78:12 "Marvellous things did He in the sight of their fathers, In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan."

"Zoan" means "the place of departure". Now we will read of some of those things that Father did for our forefathers.

Psalms 78:13 "He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; And He made the waters to stand as an heap."

The Israelites walked through the Red Sea on dry ground, as God parted the sea. We read of this in Exodus 13, and 14.

Psalms 78:14 "In the daytime also He led them with a cloud, And all the night with a light of fire."

God comforted the children of Israel by day and by night. God was with them and provided for their every needs.

Psalms 78:15 "He clave the rocks in the wilderness, And gave them drink as out of the great depths."

When the Israelites were in the desert with no water and the supplies running out, God provided water which flowed out of the rocks to give them drink.

Psalms 78:16 "He brought streams also out of the rock, And caused waters to run down like rivers."

God is telling you that this is not just history, but don't you forget what I did for these people in their faith, and I can do it for you. God never changes, it is people and their minds that change. God thinks just as much of you, as His child, as He did the children of Israel in that day.

There was another Rock that was smitten, Jesus Christ, and the waters that flow from it is the Holy Spirit that brings His healing power to those that will believe.

Psalms 78:17 "And they sinned yet more against Him By provoking the Most High in the wilderness."

Friend, that generation that walked through the Red sea, saw the many maricles down in Egypt, and watched as the water flowed out of the rocks. Yet this is the same generation that built the golden calf to worship, and do all the other wicked things in the wilderness.

Psalms 78:18 "And they tempted God in their heart By asking meat for their lust."

After all the blessings and miracles that God did for them, it still wasn't enough, they wanted meat for their table, and that their lusts be satisfied.

Psalms 78:19 "Yea, they spake against God; They said, "Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?"

They went out every morning to pick up the manna off the ground for the days rations. The gathered the meat for their tables in that desert that God provided for them, and were well fed. Yet all the time they could not relate their blessings received to God; they still doubted God's ability to provide.

Psalms 78:20 "Behold, He smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, And the streams overflowed; Can He give bread also? Can He provide flesh for His people?"

Imagine it, as they sat eating the flesh and manna in a wilderness, and with all the water that they could drink, they would utter such a statement. "Can He provide flesh for His people?" You know in the past 3,500 years our people really haven't changed that much, as they sit at their tables and eat in a manner that the rest of the world envies, and they just can't relate any of their blessings to God. What a foolish people. Many today say, I just can see that there is a God. They think that if their little minds can't think of God, how could one even exist. Their critics on their highest level tell us that they can only believe what their little minds can experience. By listening to critics, most of the educational world has come to believe these poor fools.

So what is a fool? Proverbs 1:7 tells us what a fool is. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction." As you read through the rest of Proverbs chapter one, it outlines what that knowledge is and where it comes from. The moment anyone turns to that wisdom and knowledge there is spiritual hope for them.

Psalms 78:21 "Therefore the Lord heard this, and was wroth: So a fire was kindled against Jacob, And anger also came up against Israel;"

There is a point in time when God will get angry with you for turning your back on Him and His ways. That is what happened to Israel, and God say to it that every one with unbelief would die out there in that desert. Only their children would be allowed to enter into the promise land.

Psalms 78:22 "Because they believed not in God, And trusted not in His salvation:"

Even after the delivery and after their redemption out of Egypt they would not believe God for their salvation. This is history, and it did happen to our forefather, and as it happened to them, it also could happen to us in this final generation. We are living in a time when the work of the four hidden dynasties is at it's peak, and you had better be in the Sanctuary our you will be one of these that "believed not in God, and trusted not in His salvation." We are living in the "I" generation, and our generation has moved away from "Thou" and "Thy" [my Heavenly Father]. Salvation comes by His Word, His redeeming Word.

Psalms 78:23 "Though He had commanded the clouds from above, And opened the doors of heaven,"

Another of those miracles that are taken for granted.

Psalms 78:24 "And had rained down manna upon them to eat, And had given them of the corn of heaven."

There in the desert, the wilderness God sent this food to eat, and they did eat it without thankfulness.

Psalms 78:25 "Man did eat angels' food: He sent them meat to the full."

God sent them meat and bread from another dimension to sustain them while they were heading into the promise land. The critics say; "it was drops of the tarfu or tamarisk tree". How foolish, but with their spiritual eyes closed, these critics could come up with almost any conclusion. Physical man ate angels bread, manna from heaven to sustain our forefathers for forty years in the wilderness. They came to accept these common miracles of that day as a natural thing. They accepted it daily without thanksgiving. Now stop and look around you today at peoples acceptance without thanksgiving.

Jesus spoke a parable in the Gospel of John 6, and there is a lot more than what was said in the parable. Today we can still get the true manna from heaven, only our manna is the bread that counts. John 6:31 "Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, `He gave them bread from heaven to eat.' "

John 6:32 "Then Jesus said unto them, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but My Father giveth you the true bread from heaven."

It wasn't Moses nor Aaron that brought that bread down and gave it to you, but Almighty God gave you "the true bread from heaven."

John 6:33 "For the bread of God is He Which comeith down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world."

That life that is given to the world is eternal life, and it can only come by taking of that bread of God, which is our Lord Jesus Christ. Then in verse 35 we see what the true manna of today is.

John 6:35 "And Jesus said unto them, "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst."

"I am" in the Hebrew is " `ehyeth `asher `ehyeh", and meaning, "I will be what I will be (or become)". In Exodus 3:14 in your companion Bible gives us the meaning of this expression that Jesus is giving to us here in John 6. This is the sacred name of YHVH, the Almighty God, Jesus is the great "I AM"; "I Am the bread of life, I Am the truth, I Am the light" and so forth, Jesus is the great "I AM". You don't worry about the water from any rock, for with the True Bread, the True Water you will never thirst.

John 6:36, 37 "But I said unto you, That ye also have seen Me, and believe not." [36] "All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out." [37]

Our heavenly Father is able to fulfill all that is written in His Word, and He is calling out those with a destiny, those with their spiritual eyes wide open to the truths of all of God's Word. Don't be blind as our forefathers were. Even today if we search the Scriptures for more than what is said on the surface of a Scriptural passage, Christ is telling us that even today that truth is there. When you are in trouble, that new manna which is Jesus Christ falls daily is there, if you will only partake. The same miracles that happened then, can happen today by Almighty God, but it is up to you to reach out and take it. The Israelites had to go out and take it off the ground, it required action on their part to get the manna, and it requires action on your part to get into the Scripture to study and dig it out for yourself. Kenite scribes, and in most cases even your own Pastor will not hand it to you. The requirement: "I you believe upon Him", upon Jesus Christ. It is that simple.

Psalms 78:26 "He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by His power He brought in the south wind."

Psalms 78:27 "He rained flesh also upon them as dust, And feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:"

This flesh that was rained upon them was the quill. Our Heavenly Father will take care of you if you allow Him to. It is up to you will put your faith in Him.

Psalms 78:28 "And He let it fall in the midst of their camp, Round about their habitations."

God didn't put it out in some remote area, but put the quill right in their lap daily. Food to sustain each of them daily for the entire forty years. God loves His children, and He knows how to take care of them. These things happened as a sign to each of us living in these end times. Paul wrote in I Corinthians 10:11, 12, "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples [types, examples]: They are written for your admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come." [11] "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." [12]

We have been given the truth from God's Word, and Jesus has told us who and what the true manna of our day is, yet people like to create all sorts of fairy-tales to avoid the truth. The religious world has tried to create their own short cuts to God, and in their traditions they have even lost sight of where their traditions started. Their fly-away story and left them completely disarmed against Satan and his real at the sounding of the sixth trumpet. Two men preachers stole the story from a mentally sick woman's vision, and and now this spiritual filth is taught by over 90 percent of the churches today. This is unbelievable, but it is true. Our People would rather believe a lie than the truth.

God told us what He thinks of the fly-away people in Ezekiel 13:19, 20. "And will ye pollute Me among My People for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to My People that hear your lies?"

Ezekiel 13:20 "Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; "Behold, I am against your pillows [doctrines], where with ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly."

The worst part to this doctrine is that it takes away the desire to prepare for that time when Satan is here on earth to deceive the world. Those pillows, or traditional doctrines that tell God's people, "souls", that they will not be here when Satan comes to deceive the earth at the sixth trump, tare down the defenses that God gives us through the entire Scriptures. To leave out any part of it is to make holes in your spiritual walls of defense, and allow for Satan to enter and deceive that person. We are living in the final generation, and it is our people living today that this verse is directed to, for now other generations prior to 1830 ever believed in such a foolish fairy-tale.

In the book, "The Incredible Cover-up", by Dave MacPherson exposes the Origins of the Rapture theories, and how it has blinded the church world today.

Psalms 78:29 "So they did eat, and were well filled: For He gave them their own desire;"

God gave the Israelites everything they wanted.

Psalms 78:30 "They were not estranged from their lust, But while their meat was yet in their mouths,"

You can see these people sitting and eating, and without giving a thought where the meat and manna came from.

Psalms 78:31 "The wrath of God came upon them, And slew the fattest of them, And smote down the chosen me of Israel."

Psalms 78:32 "For all this they sinned still, And believed not for His wondrous works."

Today the thought of most men and women is that "I will believe if I can see it." Our forefathers saw, they tasted and they felt the love of God for them within their daily lives, yet they still doubted that God could take care of them. Seeing is not always believing. Believing comes by Faith, and faith by hearing and receiving the Word of God sight unseen. That faith is placed within your soul by the Holy Spirit, and it requires action on your part. That action is sustained by your belief, that comes with the confidence that you have; that comes only through the Word of God. It requires study on your part, and your request that God will open your mind to receive it.

Psalms 78:33 "Therefore their days did He consume in vanity, And their years in trouble."

Because of our forefather's disbelief, God shortened their very life, and those Israelites never did enter into the promise land. They were not worthy. Our Heavenly Father is in control, and He wants you to reach out to Him, for He has already stretched out His loving arms to you. The true Manna, Jesus Christ, is still falling from heaven, that manna is spiritual understanding, the truth that comes from His Spirit as we read and study His Word. Yet how many Christians have thanked Him for that Manna as we live our daily lives. The truth falls all around us every day, yet they are so blind that the can't see it. Jesus Christ is that bread, and He is with us daily and willing to help, but He will not force Himself upon you; you must ask Him for His help and blessings. Though the manna of heaven is invisible, it is just as real as the car you drive, or the food on your table.

The water from Heaven is the understanding of the spiritual truths from God's Word. the dark saying from verse two, are the hidden meanings within the Scriptures. It means that you have to dig a little bit for the instruction and understanding that comes from the Word. Remember Jesus spoke in parables because not everyone is suppose to know the truths from God's Word, for it they know the truth, and they turned to Satan there would be no hope for them. It is for their own soul's protection. So the whole point of this chapter is that we look at the events of the past and learn something from them, so we don't have to suffer the same thing all over again.

Psalms 78:34 "When He slew them, then they sought Him: And they returned and enquired early after God."

Our people would not turn from their ways until after God had taken the lives of an entire generation. Then after that generation of unbelievers had died off in the wilderness, their children learn their lesson and turned to enquire of God. Most people will not think of our Heavenly Father until it comes to real trouble in their lives. Then they will make their worthless vows and promise God all sorts of things if He will just get them out of this problem. Of course their vows are no more of value than a reed in a wind storm. They find God in a hurry when trouble is at the door, but the lesson here is that you don't play games with God, or He will strike you down. Don't blame it on Satan when this happen; your Father wants your love, and when you toy with His love, He will make you pay the price. If you get out of Father's will and mock Him and His precious things, you will pay a heavy price for your stupidity. He will take you down. This chapter is given to us to learn from our forefather's mistakes and don't repeat it.

Psalms 78:35 "And they remembered that God was there rock, And THE MOST HIGH GOD their Redeemer."

God is the only Redeemer that can save you and give you eternal life. You simply do not have to go through a lot of trouble before He will come to your help. God is the Rock, and His Word and Promises are real. This is not playing church, for Christianity is not a religion but a reality. It is played out in reality as each Christian lives his or her daily lives.

The instruction that our Father gives us in His Word allows us to know the events of our day and how they relate to His Word. That "Rock" gives us a sure foundation to stand on in our daily lives, and we don't have to slip and shift as the rest of the world does. There is a purpose for the troubles of our day, for if you know that we are in the end times, then the events make sense, for the world is preparing to receive their father, Satan. However it take an effort on your part, to step up on that Rock, and study to show thyself approved unto God, that you can be used by Him in these final days. When you know the truth, they you can say, "Thus saith the Lord", and go to the Word for your documentation.

Psalms 78:36 "Nevertheless they did flatter Him with their mouth, And they lied unto Him with their tongues."

Those Israelites made false promises that they never intended to keep. Remember that God can read right into a persons mind as they are thinking their thoughts. They wanted help in their time of trouble, and would even lie to God to get help and a quick fix. "Tongues" as given in this verse is singular, "tongue" in the Hebrew. the people became self-centered. Remember how this chapter started, the person was outside the Sanctuary, and everything in his life was self centered. I, I, I, that is all the person could think of was himself. However when he entered into the Sanctuary, God became his counselor and the focus changed from "I" and "me", to "Thou" and "Thee". Then the Selah came and he stopped to meditate on what was happening, and God became the center of his life. He saw the light and came in out of the darkness.

Psalms 78:37 "For their heart was not right with Him, Neither were they steadfast in His covenant."

When your heart or mind is not right with God, and steadfast in His Word, it appears that the whole world is picking on you. When you lose focus as to the events that are going on around you, that God has foretold us would happen in His Word then things get confusing. "Steadfast" as used in this verse, means "loyal" in the Hebrew test. The prophecies, or "ensamples" written in "His covenant" are to strengthen us when we witness that God keeps His Word, for just as we see those things happening, we have the confidence to know that He will keep His Word and help us in our time of need. Those problems should draw us closer to our Lord for our needs, and not drive us away from Him.

Psalms 78:38 "But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: Yea, many a time turned He His anger away, And did not stir up all His wrath."

Our Heavenly Father is full of compassion; for when they deserved to be destroyed, God forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them. The Israelites went back to their passiveness and disbelief over and over and did not stir up God to wrath. However the time is short to our generation when God's wrath will be turned lose on this world age, and it will be brought to close in the wink of an eye. Where are you going to be when that moment happens and God cup of wrath is turned lose on this earth, in His love or in His anger, the choice is yours.

Psalms 78:39 "For He remembered that they were but flesh; A wind that passeth away, and cometh not again."

Our Heavenly Father knew that they were only mortal men, sent into this world age through the womb of woman, with the loss of memory of those events of the first earth age. Here for just a vapor breath in time, as compared to the vast expanse of eternity. Father knew that once that flesh died and went into the soil that it was make of, would never rise again. We know from Ecclesiastes 12:6, and 7 that went that silver cord that binds our soul and spirit to golden bowl this flesh body is broken, meaning the person dies; the body is put into the grave. However:

Ecclesiastes 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God Who gave it."

Flesh is sin, and when you are in the flesh, God has compassion and understanding for you. God is the one that placed your soul in your flesh body at conception, in the embryo of your mother's womb, and thus He is your true Father. We know the compassion that your flesh father has for his child, and our Heavenly Father understands far more than any flesh father how weak that child is.

Psalms 78:40 "How oft did they provoke Him in the wilderness, And grieve Him in the desert!"

The Israelites witness the Red Sea open; they saw Moses strike the rock, and out came streams of cool pure fresh water; they went out every morning while in the desert and pick up manna off the ground to give them their food for the day. God brought all the birds that would sustain them for forty years into the desert for their dinner tables, and yet they complained and provoked God. Who in the world did they think provided the clouds overhead to protect them from the heat of the sun by day, and gave them a pillar of fire by night to heat their flesh bodies, and still all these things happened to them, so it could be an "ensample" to you living in this final generation.

I Corinthians 10:11 "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."

These things are written in detail so that you and I living in this final generation would have an example of how our Heavenly Father will keep His Word to you. That final generation of this world age started with the Jews returned to Jerusalem, and that happened many years ago. The time is short as we watch the false peace talked about, but will never come. Don't be taken in by the events that are going on about you, learn from those events written in God's Word, and let the bread of Christ [His manna] come into your life daily. It is a miracle for God to you, but it is up to you to receive it.

Psalms 78:41 "Yea, they turned back and tempted God, And limited the Holy One of Israel."

Every time they saw God's miracles happening for them, they still doubted Him and would not seek Him for their strength and protection. Even with all the records of Christ's death on the cross, there are many today that even doubt the death and resurrection of Christ. They limit God, the Holy one of Israel, by their own disbelief. They just do not trust God to do what He says He will do. You may claim that you are an agnostic today, but you will not always be one, for there is a time coming everyone will know there is a God. Every soul on the face of this planet will bow to Him when they see Him coming to pour that cup of wrath out on this entire earth.

Psalms 78:42 "They remembered not His hand, Nor the day when He delivered them from the enemy."

God worked over and over in their lives with His hand that guided them, just as he works continually on our lives, and yet we in these flesh bodies forget those blessings and times of protection that Father has provided for each of us.

Psalms 78:43 "How He had wrought His signs in Egypt, And His wonders in the field of Zoan:"

Those tens signs are the miracles that God worked at the hand of Moses and Aaron to free the Israelites for their bondage in Egypt. The wonders included how God healed the sick and wounded on that night when the put the blood over the door post, and they walked out of Egypt. Moses gave the Israelites the details of what they were to do, and how everything was to be done. Notice verse Exodus 12:13 how God said He would be watching.

Exodus 12:13 "And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you, to destroy you."

"When I see the blood" Not when you feel, or even believe. The act of Faith was in the action that took place in the killing of the lamb, and putting the blood on the doorpost. It was not something to be seen from the inside, but the outside of the house. Then the wonders of the field of Zoan took place. Zoan was the capital city of Egypt at the time, and that is where the march started to the promise land. It was the city that was noted for it's wisdom.

Psalms 78:44 "And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink."

This was the first plague that God preformed through Moses, as written of in Exodus 7:17.

Psalms 78:45 "He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs which destroyed them."

These are two more signs that were written down to be passed on to our generation. The sending of the flies was the fourth plague [Exodus 8:21]; and the coming of the frogs is written in Exodus 8:5, 6. These frogs never came because of heavy rains that brought them to Egypt, but Moses the prophet predicted those frogs and flies coming before the event. A prophet is someone that sounds the warning before the event takes place. IF the event takes place exactly as it was written, then he or she is a true prophet, if it doesn't take place, that person is speaking out of his or her own imaginations.

Today we have many false prophets going all over the place making their statements and collecting their money, as they move on to the next location. This is why in our day, it become important that we check all of them out by the Scriptures, all of them. For What will and is happening is taking place according to God's perfect plan, as written in the Scriptures.

Psalms 78:46 "He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, And their labour unto the locust."

The Caterpillar is a latter stage of the locust, as it is prophesied in Joel 1:4. Though the locust can be eaten, the caterpillar can not. Just as these two forms of insect were used in Moses day as a prophecy to warn Egypt, they are also given in our generation as to how things will be when Satan's locust army of fallen angels arrive on earth with their leader Satan. The locust are the "swarmers stage", they come in hoards and devour green vegetation, and those living plants. They move in mass as a army unit with complete destruction left behind. However the caterpillar is the latter stage of the locust, and it survives after the vegetation is gone, and it feeds of that which was left behind. The caterpillar is the "consumer stage" and moves alone, and that is why in this final stage works individually.

Remember that just as these prophecies were given by Moses in Exodus 10:1 - 20, they were also given as warnings to us living in these final days of this earth age of the flesh.

Psalms 78:47 "He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost."

What the hail didn't get, the freezing ice that followed killed off their sycomore trees. This prophecy was the seventh plague given to kill things and animal life, as written in Exodus 9:18.

Psalms 78:48 "He gave up their cattle also to the hail, And their flocks to hot thunderbolts."

The cattle that the hail didn't get, the lightning thunderbolts struck dead. [Exodus 9:23] When a herd of cattle are in a bad storm they huddle together and the entire herd can be killed with one thunderbolt. Our Heavenly Father controls nature and the elements of the universe, and when Moses prophesied that it would happen, God directed that bolt of lightning to where it would go. God is able to keep His Word.

Psalms 78:49 "He cast upon them the fierceness of His anger, Wrath, and indignation, and trouble, By sending evil angels among them."

Stop and take another look at this verse. "He cast upon them......By sending evil angels among them." God can allow evil angels to come amongst the people living in this earth age dimension of the flesh. Evil angels can come into a family to mess them over real good, and cause loving family members to do bad things to each other. Do you think that it is an accident that breaks families up? It brings Satan great joy to see two Christians fighting and back biting at each other. Evil angels are demonics, and Paul's first letter to Timothy speaks of these lying spirits and the doctrines they teach.

I Timothy 4:1 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, having heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;"

Now the Holy Spirit is going to speak very plain and clear so that we can understand. This is directed to the latter times, and we are living in the latter times today, so this is addressed to you and I. In our day, people that once had the faith are going to lose their faith. Expect this to happen, for it is prophecy of our day. Why? They lose their faith because they listened to seducing spirits, and the doctrines of devils. These evil angels that came when Moses prophesied are coming in our generation, and Michael is going to throw thousands of them out on this earth when Satan is thrown out of heaven.

Revelation 12:7 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels."

Revelation 12:8 "And prevailed not, neither was there place found any more in heaven."

Revelation 12:9 "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

Satan will be coming with seven thousand of his fallen angels right here on earth at the sixth trumpet. These evil angels with their supernatural powers are coming here to deceive the people of this earth into accepting Satan as God.

I Timothy 4:2 "Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;"

When these evil spirits speak, the people of this earth in their flesh bodies, will listen and see the supernatural wonders of these fallen angels and believe what they will say. Christians that are not prepared for the lies that these fallen angels tell, are going to believe them and be taken completely by them. Their minds and conscience will be seared as with a hot iron. That means that they are incapable to have understanding as to what is happening to them. Their minds seared to the point where arguing become so natural for them that it seems normal to live in that state of mind.

Next time you have a family argument, stop and tell each family member that you love them, and see how it destroys the work of these demonics. Then take the olive oil, the oil of our people and anoint your house and order those demonics out of your house, in Jesus name.

I Timothy 4:3 "Forbidding to marry, and cammanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth."

Don't pass over; "...know the truth." Today there are many so called pastors that take this verse and use it to back up the demonic doctrine that "all meats can now be eaten". The verse did not say that at all, and it shows their lack of paying attention to what was written in this verse here. They overlook, "...which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving," for God has never created any scavenger bird, animal, or sea live to be received for human consumption in any form. Those scavenger creatures were created to eat the dead things laying around on the earth or in the sea, which are poison to the human body. The scavenger was not "created to be received" as food to man in the flesh, so don't receive it.

God laid out in Deuteronomy 14:3 the meats that are abominable, in in Deuteronomy 14:4 The beasts that are fit to eat. This starts what is know as the "Health Laws" from God to His people to guide them into good health while living in their flesh body. If an animal was poison to our flesh bodies in Moses day, it is still poison today. If you think somehow Jesus changed that when He came in the flesh, think again, for He told us in Matthew 5:17-19; "Think not that I have come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to fulfill."

Jesus came to fulfill the the ordinances dealing with blood sacrifices using animals. He became the Lamb that taketh away the sins of anyone that will call upon His name. That part of the law was fulfilled in Christ death and resurrection.

Matthew 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, on jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

According to Revelation 21, Heaven and earth will not pass away until after this earth age is over, and the Millennium age is completed and the great white throne judgment has sent Satan and all those that follow him to be consumed in hell fire. As long as you are in this flesh body, in this age of the flesh, these laws still apply to you. So what does God think of those that teach doctrines against His health laws?

Matthew 5:19 "Whosoever therefore shall break on of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them , the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

I don't have to tell you what God thinks of those that preach that all meats are safe to eat, Jesus told you. Sure, many of those meats are very good to taste, and the commercial and social pressures have tainted the spiritual teaching at the pulpits today. The foods you eat are what your body stores for it nourishment, and whether you storing poisons and earth garbage in your system, is entirely up to you. But don't blame God for your sickness when you defy His instruction, it is your fault.

The idea that scavengers are food is one of the doctrines of devils, just as the rapture doctrine, that prepares Christians to receive Satan, the first "morning star" to come. Many Christians will receive Satan because they were taught to do so by their pastors and teachers that did not "know the truth". So how did this discussion enter in our Psalms 78 study, and the time of Moses. They are "ensamples as to how it shall be in the time of the end," [I Corinthians 10:11] and we are living in those times. That is why we must take the entire Scriptures, Old and New Testament and seek the truth. If we start listening to lies, those lies will sear our conscience as with a hot iron, there will be no understanding of prophecies of events of our day. This is what is spoken of in Revelation 9:4.

Revelation 9:4 "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads."

The "seal of God in your forehead" is the truth of God's Word, and prophecies and details from all the Bible. From what happened in the garden of Eden, to what happens when the seventh and last trump sounds, ending this age of the flesh in the wink of an eye. This knowledge is wisdom that protects you and it must be sealed away in your mind, with understanding, before Satan and his locust army of fallen angels arrive at the sixth trumpet. For at the sixth trumpet all people will either know the truth, and see Satan as the fake he is, or fall and worship him. This is why God shortened the time of Satan to five months.

Revelation 9:5 "And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man."

When a scorpion strikes a man, the first thing that happens is that the mind of the victim is deadened, and the central nervous system is left in a state that the victim simply cannot protect itself. Now apply that to the spiritual condition with ones mind is seared over and the truth simply cannot be understood. That person then falls for what ever it can reason at the time, and the doctrines of devils will seem to be reality.

Friend, if you don't know any better, and you love to listen to evil angels and seducing spirits, God will send them to you. God also gives you the power to order them out of your life when they come to you, but it is up to you to order them out of your life and back to where they came from, in Jesus Name, for Jesus Name is the only power that can control them. Learn to protect yourself.

Psalms 78:50 "He made a way to His anger; He spared not their soul from death, But gave their life over to the pestilence;"

Each time Pharaoh reject Moses plea to "let my people go", it rekindled God's anger to Egypt. God allowed the pestilence to claim many lives for their hard heartedness.

Psalms 78:51 "And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; The chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:"

Again, stop and think what is said here. Because of that nation of Egypt's disregard for His order, God killed off their first born. All of the firstborn, from the little baby in the crib to the firstborn that grew to his old age. This was the tenth and final plague that came on Egypt as recorded Deuteronomy 21:17. Ham of course is in reference to the land of Egypt, and their tabernacles are the tents that they lived in. The death angel came right into their homes or where ever they were and smote the firstborn dead. This death came to both men and their cattle. This is God speaking, and He does get angry when people turn against His Word.

Psalms 78:52 "But made His own People to go forth like sheep, And guided them in the wilderness like a flock."

Our Father is our Shepherd, and Jesus Christ came born in the flesh is our Good Shepherd. He wants to lead and protect them that love him and follow His Way.

Psalms 78:53 "And He led them on safely so that they feared not: But the sea overwhelmed their enemies."

God gives His protection to those that love him, and study to follow His ways. Just as He parted the Red Sea, he will prepare the way for you to get through those hard times.

Psalms 78:54 "And He brought them to the border of His sanctuary, Even to this mountain, which His right hand had purchased."

God lead them through the wilderness and all the way to mount Zion, to establish His sanctuary there in Jerusalem. This is also prophecy for it is Jesus Christ that is at the right hand of the Father, and it was on Mount Zion that Jesus purchased the soul of each believer with his blood and fleshly life.

Psalms 78:55 "He cast out the heathen also before them, And divided them an inheritance by line, And made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents."

God led David to cast out the heathen nations that had founded themselves and established the nation of the Jebusites on that land. Then it was from Jerusalem that Joshua divided amongst the tribes of Israel gave the allocation of land. The land was divided into lots for each family within those tribes. That is where our term "lot" comes from today.

Psalms 78:56 "Yet they tempted and provoked the Most High God, And kept not His testimonies:"

Do you know what "the testimonies" of the Most High God are today? The testimonies are the witness that is written down in the Scriptures by those men of old giving us instructions as to what God expects of us. It comes from the prime #5712 in Strong' Bible dictionary. God's laws and commandments were given on the mount for the entire congregation.

Psalms 78:57 "But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: They were turned aside like a deceitful bow."

Again, over and over the Israelites showed their unfaithfulness to our Heavenly Father and they were made to pay a price for their unfaithfulness. God uses people as His arrows to strike at Satan and his realm, and when God loads you into his bow, He expects you to be able to strike straight into Satan's realm and do some damage. When we set our lives on a straight course in life, the first time some little demonic throws something in our path, that is the time to order him out and back to where it came from, and stay focused on our true course as God has led us. When God sends you on a mission, do it, and do it well.

Psalms 78:58 "For they provoked Him to anger with their high places, And moved Him to jealousy with their graven images."

Our forefather took pride in provoking God, and chasing after the heathen's graven images. They had chased after so many heathen gods and idols that they go to the point where they didn't know what was from God or what was from their own imaginations. The problem that exists today is the many think that God is speaking to them and telling them to do something, when it is not God that they are listening to. They have listened to false spirits so long that they just don't know the difference. The way that you know if your instructions are from God or not, is that God's instructions are written in His Word. If your thoughts are not enforced by God's Word, than it is not of God.

Psalms 78:59 "When God heard this, He was wroth, And greatly abhorred Israel."

When God saw the sins that the Israelites were doing, it made him angry and he hated them.

Psalms 78:60 "So that He forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, The tent which He placed among men;"

"The Tabernacle of Shiloh" is the place the people of all tribes went for rest and peace of mind. When these Israelites willfully sinned God would not give them the rest and peace of mind. This tent that He placed among them housed the Ark of the Covenant, that stored the reminders of the faithfulness of God to them in their journey out of Egypt

Psalms 78:61 "And delivered His strength into captivity, And His glory into the enemy's hand."

When the Philistines went to battle against Israel, God was so displeased with Israel, that He allowed the Philistines to take that Ark of the Covenant from them. The Ark of the Covenant was the personification of God's law and all the covenants that were given to them. Even the manna that was from heaven was in the Ark, to remind Israel of the faithfulness of God to them on a daily basis. That manna, or bread is in Christ today and it falls all around you, and yet many calling themselves Christians are starved to death from partaking of that manna that is so freely given. Friend, start partaking of the bread of life, and never hunger.

Psalms 78:62 "He gave His people over also unto the sword; And was wroth with His inheritance."

Because of their disbelief, He was angry with His people. Israel is His inheritance.

Psalms 78:63 "The fire consumed their young men; And their maidens were not given to marriage."

Part of this verse is left out from the manuscripts, but what is implied here from the Hebrew text is that there are so many of the young men killed in the battles with Israel's enemies, that there is no one for the young women to marry to where you can hear the wedding songs. When the Israelites turned their backs on God, He allowed their enemies to take large numbers of their men in battle.

Psalms 78:64 "Their priests fell by the sword; And their widows made no lamentations. "

Wickedness was so bad that even when the priests were killed, their widows said nothing, they didn't dare. They were suppose to be the spiritual leaders, and they kept quit. The fault of the loss were because there was no spiritual leadership. Stop and look around today, as God and our Lord Jesus Christ and His law and commandments are being stripped from schools, government and all parts of our land, and there is nothing said of what is being done. The hidden dynasty of education is taking away those spiritual reminders of our people, and our people just can't understand why our children are so confused.

Psalms 78:65 "Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep, And like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine."

This verse is one of the many places where the Kenite Sopherim altered "Jehovah" in the Hebrew text, to read "Adonai"; Changing God [Lord] from deity to a common man, lord over men. This is explained in the Appendix 32 of the Companion Bible.

Psalms 78:66 "And He smote His enemies in the hinder parts: He put them to a perpetual reproach."

God hit his enemies in the rear, He awake them up; and this is saying that He put on the big shoe and booted them where it hurt. A "perpetual reproach" is forever, as long as they are an enemy; however they will not be an enemy forever. At the close of the Millennium age, after the Judgment of God, they will be sons of God, or they will not exist.

Psalms 78:67 "Moreover He refused the tabernacle of Joseph, And chose the tribe of Ephraim:"

Psalms 78:68 "But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which He loved."

God turned down both the tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim, and chose the tribe of Judah, which was given the land of mount Zion, which is Jerusalem. Jerusalem is God's special place, and it is there where Jesus will return and set up his temple for the Millennium age kingdom.

Psalms 78:69 "And He built His sanctuary like high places, Like the earth which He hath established for ever."

Jerusalem is the location where God will establish his temple, sanctuary and holy place for ever. The new Jerusalem will come down out of heaven and that location will be where His holy temple will be in the eternity.

Psalms 78:70 "He chose David also His servant, And took him from the sheepfolds:"

When Samuel came to David's household and stated that the new king will be one of his father's sons. Each of David brothers were brought out and rejected, and then Samuel asked, do you have any more sons. When Samuel saw David when he came in from the sheepfold, Samuel declared that this son will be the new king. Samuel anointed David, that little shepherd boy in out of the hills to lead Israel. God picks those that He choses, and He gives them special gifts to serve Him. If you have eyes to see the truth of His word, than He has chosen you. What are you doing with the gifts that He has given you?

Psalms 78:71 "From following the ewes great with young He brought him To fee Jacob His people, and Israel His inheritance."

God brought David from the field, and placed him in a position to where people would respect him. He slew Goliath, he beat back Israel's enemies, and in time, the people saw God's anointed one and selected David as their king.

Psalms 78:72 "So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; And guided them by the skilfulness of his hands."

The lesson for this entire chapter is; "don't doubt God." God gave us this lesson in Psalms showing us that if we continue in doubting God, he will bring failure after failure to our lives. This is a lesson even to our generation, for it applies to us today as much as it did in Moses time, or in David's time. The Israelites continued time after time taking the blessings and seeing the miracles that God did just for them, and yet they doubted God continually. They would see, yet they just did not believe that God would do what He said He would do for them. They tempted God time after time until God became angry with them, and allow them to lose their battles to the point that the maidens did not have a man to marry.

God's manna is here today in His Word, and it is there for those that will take it. God promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you in times of need, but because of the blindness of people today, they just can't see God nor his promises. The manna, the truth from God's Word, is the promises that He gives to each of us if we will just believe and step out by faith and take it. It requires you to stand on that Rock steadfast, but if you doubt our Father's Word you will lose it all. Those promise will not be for you in disbelief, and it void to unbelievers, and you are a lost soul. But for those that belief, each promise is there for you to claim. As you read those promises, claim them for yourself, and believe that it shall come to pass. God promised it, so take it.
