This Psalm has nothing to do with Moses, but is a type of the book of Numbers written by Moses as the Holy Spirit led him. Numbers was written by Moses in the 38th year of the wandering in the wilderness, and in two years they would be coming out of the captivity, and into the promise land. So this prayer is written by Moses, and placed here by David. It starts the new section or book of the Psalms; the fourth book. There will be one more following this fourth book, that will cover from Psalms 106 to 150.

Psalms 90:1 "Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place In all generations.

Our Heavenly Father and this earth has been our dwelling place for all generation, and it even goes back to the "World age that was" before this earth age of flesh man. Our Heavenly Father has always been our dwelling place for He is our creator.

Psalms 90:2 "Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art GOD."

The "world" that is spoken of here, is this "current world or earth age". The prayer of this chapter was written by Moses, and every word of these passages were used by Satan in trying to tempt Jesus Christ. The record of this earth age is recorded in Genesis 1, and in the Beginning God created the earth and it was good. Then in the second verse, sin entered into that first earth age, and one third of all the created being, souls, or angels as they are called, followed Satan in his rebellion against God.

God destroyed that first earth age, and we see that this second earth age of flesh man came into being. God formed this second earth age as it is today, and it will remain until as is until the coming of the Lord, and then this age of flesh man will be over as well as all the evil rudiments and elements that are in it. So Moses is informing us as to what happened to form this earth age as it is, and Satan misquoted Moses and twisted this prayer to use it to tempt our Lord Jesus Christ. Anytime Satan quotes Scripture, you can count on it being twisted and false.

Psalms 90:3 "Thou turnest man to destruction; And sayest, "Return, ye children of me." "

"Man" as it is used here is "Mortal man". There is a time coming when all of God's children living in their flesh bodies will return to the Father, and that time is at their death while in this flesh body. There will also be another time coming, when all mankind, all souls that are in their flesh bodies, will be changed into their incorruptible bodies that they will have for the thousand years of Jesus Reign right here on earth.

Psalms 90:4 "For a thousand years in Thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, And as a watch in the night."

"A watch in the night" is a military expression concerning a guard protecting his post. The watch is usually considered such a long time as it is being carried out. Though it is but four hours, once it is over, it seems as just a moment in time. So what this is saying is that a thousand years to our Father is as just a moment at the watch station for our Heavenly Father. One day of our time is as a thousand years with our Heavenly Father.

II Peter 3:8 "But, Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

II Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Psalms 90:5 "Thou carrest them away as with a flood; They are as a sleep: In the morning they are like grass which groweth up."

During that short swift moment in time that we live here in our physical body living our life span, when it is over, it seems like it went by so quickly. However, for most living in this life time, God's sends the spirit of slumber on them so that they become like grass, growing to maturity, and passing away, just like a dream. As the church world sits and looks for our Lord's return, they get impatient for His coming, as they think this world is only 6000 years old. They haven't lived the six thousand year period, but their impatience would have you believe that they had. God only allows you to experience one life time of 70 years at the most, yet many go beyond that time, while others for some reason known only to God, are cut very short in infancy. Then like grass, these flesh bodies just whither away back into the element they are made of; for our flesh bodies are very perishable

Psalms 90:6 "In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; In the evening it is cut down, and withereth.""

This is a good description as to how we live our lives. We are born into this world and grow into our youth, and from youth into adulthood. These flesh bodies are very pliable and active, and can adapt to most any situation. However as we age and get into our senior years, we slow way down, to the point that our energy just doesn't last. So the instruction that is given here is that because of this short time that we have in our flesh bodies, we ought to think of those things that are permanent, and can be taken with us into our eternal life.

Psalms 90:7 For we are consumed by Thine anger, And by Thy wrath are we troubled."

We are silenced by those things around us that demonstrate God's anger and wrath. When God corrects you and sets you back on the right path, that is the time to praise Him, and not be troubled over it. God only corrects those that He loves, and that need it. That is the time to thank the Father and get on with our lives.

Psalms 90:8 "Thou hast set our iniquities before Thee, Our secret sins in the light of Thy countenance."

"Our iniquities" are our sins. Most people lose sight that there are no secret sins in the eyes of God, For God sees all and knows what you are thinking as you think your thoughts. When we sin, that is the time to ask God for forgiveness for our sins. Many Christians are all wrapped up in themselves, and think that they can hide something from God. They forget that God is the one that loves them and want to hear their repentance and wipe those sins away. Does it mean that you didn't do them? No, you do sin, but the record that God hold of that sin is blotted out, never more to return. Once a sin is repented of, God tells us that He doesn't even want to hear about them again.

Will you sin again? Yes, but that is what repentance is for, and when you sin that is the time to ask for repentance, and not carry that guilt of sin around in your mind. That sin is between you and almighty God, and your repentance is in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for He is the One that paid the price for that sin. When you end your prayer in Jesus Name, you are telling the Father that you recognize that Jesus came into this world born of Mary, lived the perfect life, and willingly went to the cross as a innocent man, and you accept that price that Jesus paid for you at the cross of Calvary. That is the freedom that we have in Christ.

Psalms 90:9 "For all our days are passed away in Thy wrath: We spend our years as a tale that is told."

At the time of death, when a person is laying on his death bed, his entire life passes before his mind as a tale that is being told of someone and some other person. Some people have experienced this at a critical point in their life, and it has caused them to change their life and their ways, when the crisis was over.

When we die and enter into the eternity, this life regardless of how painful, will pass before us. We will realize that our time spent in this flesh body was really just a vapor in time. It will be just a thought of another time that will never happen again.

Psalms 90:10  "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away."

This "threescore years and ten" is the 70 year generation. God has given men and women a life span of seventy years in this flesh body. However, if by our "strength, labor and sorrow", by our careful planning and right diet and living it may be extended a few years. Sure we might make it to ninety years old, but in those added years they will not be the strength of the prime of our life. There is one thing for sure and that is in time all of flesh mankind will die and our souls will return to the Father that placed our soul in our body at conception.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God Who gave it."

Today there is a false doctrine that tells in its tradition that the soul remains with the body in the grave until a "rapture" takes place. This "rapture doctrine" places a point in time when the souls of the righteous will be snatched away instantly, prior to the coming of the Antichrist at the sixth trumpet. This is a doctrine of devils, of evil spirits. Paul addresses this thought in First Thessalonians 4:13-17, however this is the same passage they use to prove their rapture doctrine. When you leave out the 13 verse, then you can say the rest is fact. However, the 13 verse is the warning.

I Thessalonians 4:13 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which sleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."

Once Jesus Christ came out of that tomb to be raised from the dead, all souls also will rise to be with Him at their physical death. There is no soul sleep; souls remaining in the grave until a point in time when all souls rise together. That is what the heathen believe, it is a doctrine of evil spirits, and Paul doesn't want you ignorant as the heathen. The reason that this is so dangerous of a doctrine is that people use it as an excuse to not study all of God Word, to prepare themselves for the times we are living in today. We are in the final generation, as Jesus pointed out in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, as well as the book of Revelation and many passages of the Old Testament. This rapture doctrine becomes part of the mark of the beast for as they are looking for the first Christ to come, they are completely ignorant of the events leading to the coming of the Antichrist, who is Satan. They do not take the seal in their minds, spoken of in Revelation 9:4, and God will turn them over to Antichrist, his beast system, and his locust army of fallen angels to deceive them into worshipping the false Christ.

So what this verse in Psalms 90:10 is talking about is that for our soul to be absent from this flesh, is to be present with the Lord. There is no soul sleep, that thought or doctrine is of the heathen.

Psalms 90:11 "Who knoweth the power of Thine anger? Even according to Thy fear, so is Thy wrath."

This translation has been mixed up a little. What it is say is simply that "God's wrath is only appreciated by those that reverence Him." When you study God's Word you see that the only reason that God's wrath does rise, is for the protection and benefit of those that love Him. Every move that our Heavenly Father makes is for a positive purpose to those that have repented and are following His ways. Even when God is correction us, the purpose is to bring us back to Him.

Psalms 90:12 "So teach us to number our days, That we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."

Teach us how to live our lives each day of our life, so that we can work our wisdom. All wisdom comes from the Father, and in His Word, he teaches us the ways that He expects us to life. This is asking God to teach us His wisdom through His Word, so that we can apply those thoughts of wisdom to lives and have a better life. God wrote this letter we call our Bible to you and I, to each of His children that love him, and follow His Ways. It is only by the Holy Spirit that you understand any of it, and can apply the true meaning to yourself. It is a personal letter from our Heavenly Father to those of His elect, that have the spiritual eyes to see, and ears to hear those words of instruction and warning that are written on each of the bible books pages. It is God's Wisdom given simply for the taking.

Psalms 90:13 "Return, O Lord, how long? And let it repent Thee concerning Thy servants."

This is asking our heavenly Father, how long will you allow all these things to go on. This again is looking to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ at the seventh trump, for "Return" is asking for an end to come of all the pain that we suffer in these flesh bodies. Those with the seal of God in their minds in this final generation will continue to be servants of the Living God right to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalms 90:14 "O satisfy us early with Thy mercy; That we may rejoice and be glad all our days."

This is asking God to reveal Himself in our lives early in our lives so that His truths can be a guide for us each day of our lives. It is asking the Father to give us spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear at an early age, so that as we live our lives, we will find mercy and instruction from Him. It really doesn't matter if this mercy comes early or late in your life, but when it does come each of us truly rejoice and are glad the rest of the days that God gives us to life in these flesh bodies. When you have your spiritual eyes open, rejoice that you have been chosen by God to reveal Himself to you through His Word, by His Holy Spirit. You have been set aside by Him to serve Him in these final days of this earth age of flesh man. God has opened your spritual eyes to reveal those events of the latter days that are common knowledge to everyone in our generation, but mark the events of the close of "man in the flesh" age.

We can see the seals and trumpets take place right before our eyes, and we rejoice that God is faithful to His Word. The Jews have gone back to the holy lands; the world is under a one world order; the disruptions of weather and earth activities are taking place as stated in your Word, and the world is preparing itself for the coming of Satan, the false christ, they shall worship him in ignorance. As all these events have taken place, we have slipped from the first to the fifth trumpet, yet most of the church world is not looking for the events that mark the times we live in, but looking for their rapture to take place and usher them out this earth. Those that have reject the book of Revelation, and most of the Old Testament will enter into Satan's world at the sixth trumpet thinking that they are worshipping the true Christ, and be completely deceived by the false Christ, Satan in His role as the Antichrist. If your spiritual eyes are opened to the entire Word, this is a time to rejoice and be of service to our heavenly Father.

Psalms 90:15 "Make us glad according to the days wherein Thou hast afflicted us, And the years wherein we have seen evil."

Father, make us glad even in this earth age when the entire world is being prepared to follow the devil. As we see the earths climate changing, and the physical events of our day take place, make us glad that we are able to serve you. It is time to be glad when God has opened your spiritual eyes to see all the evil taking place, and as we hear of the wickedness entering into this world age. We see the perversion, such as abortion and sodomy being accepted as a common thing, and plagues of these end times that are taking place all over the world. We are in the end times, and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is not far away, yet before our Lord return, there will be another time when Satan physically comes to earth with all his fallen angels, and the perversion will be as in the days of Noah, as Jesus warned us in Matthew 24:36-39.

This chapter and forth book of the Psalms is addressed to "this earth and the nations of this earth", that are about to come out of the wilderness of man on earth in his flesh bodies. We are coming to the end of this dispensation of time, and the last event of the final generation is Satan sitting on his throne in Jerusalem on the side of the north, claiming to be the True God, and the entire world believing him. Those with spiritual eyes will see each of these events take place and know exactly what is happening and why. That is having the spiritual eyes to see and ears to see the truths of God's holy Word. As all these things are going on around you, you still can have peace of mind and spiritual rest knowing you are in the loving care and protection of our Heavenly Father. He has promised you that He will never leave you nor forsake you when you rest in Him.

Psalms 90:16 "Let Thy work appear unto Thy servants, And Thy glory unto their children."

"Thy Work" is God's plan that is written within His entire Word, and let those written words be made know to each of His servants in these latter days. Let each of those that read with understanding pass on their understanding to their children and those that have the eyes to see the truth.

Psalms 90:17 "And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: And establish Thou the work of our hands upon us: Yea, the work of our hands establish Thou it."

This lets us know that if you claim His name, he expects you go do work for Him. That is the only way that God's Word goes out to the world at this time, is through the work of His servants. No you are not saved by your works, but by your works done for Him you demonstrate your love for God. It is through the work of your hands that Father's plan will take place. That is what Christianity is all about; for it is not a religion, but a way of life. It is not a bunch of fluff and lazy people laying around waiting for their great flight out of here, but God wants an army that is committed to Him and willing to stay in the field working until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ at the seventh and last trump. Those not willing to become part of that plan will be taken by Satan at the sixth trumpet, and in their ignorance worship work for the wrong messiah.

God is building a Christian army that care about all the truths and warnings of His entire Word. Those of that army will wake up and be of some use to Him in these latter times.
