Part 5

"The Political System and the Antichrist."

This study is to continue the look into the wounding of the beast of the end times, and we must keep in mind that this will happen in the very last hours of this earth age of the flesh. At the most, a five months period, and at this time there will be a one world political system. That system will rule over all seven dominions, which are continents, that will have ten men or agencies ruling over it.

Many people have made the sad mistake of blaming the Catholic church , or any one of many other groups that have become strong and numerous. When we check God's Word out, we see that it will be a political entity. Geographically, the head of this one world system will set it's control up and rule from Jerusalem. Well, Jerusalem, is not Rome, or New York.

You cannot put forth the idea of putting Christians as the center of running this system, for Christians love Christ. So let's continue this study somewhere out of the Christian camp to test the spirits, to see where those are that would make a stand against God. Jerusalem makes a good place to start, because geographically, that is where Jesus Christ said that it would be.

II Thessalonians 2:3-4
" Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

Satan is the "son of perdition" that will sit in Jerusalem claiming that he is God, and demanding that the entire world worship him. This is why it is important to know what happens to know what is happening in Jerusalem. That is where the "abomination of desolation" will take place. That abomination is Satan declaring himself to be God, and the entire world believing it.

Matthew 24:15-16
"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:"

Even a child should be able to understand that something bad is happening. Yet even with this set of instructions, people still prefer to keep themselves in the dark as to where to look and what to look for, to find the beasts, the enemies of Christ of the last days. These are the people that just don't believe on Him as a nation.

This one world political system has to receive a deadly wound, before the religious part of the beast system can take supreme authority. A deadly wound to a political system means that it must come to an abrupt halt. This one world system ties in with the prophecy that declares "..and they shall cry peace, peace, peace, and there shall be no peace." Jeremiah 6:14. There shall never be true peace until the Prince of true Peace, Jesus Christ comes to this earth.

So now, how can we figure out exactly how this wounding takes place? Remember from the first part of this study, from Deuteronomy where God himself said, "...I wound, I heel, I control..."? So the person that causes the deadly wound is still the same person that is in full control of all that shall take place. It is our Heavenly Father that shall cause the deadly wound, and the time and manner that is within His plan and purpose. This should give us a clue to help us find that wound.

What is given is for your consideration, but remember, that it is you personally that must decide to stand against the beast, or join that system. You alone must make your own mind up These are only the things and facts that we should be watching for, in the relationship of our waiting for this deadly wound. This is the next major prophetic even that is within the plan of the living God.

This deadly wound is mentioned several times in the Minor Prophets, and in David's battle that took place with Goliath, and what happened with the Philistines in the "valley of Elah". And there is another battle that will take place also in that same location. These are types that are given in God's Word for your consideration, and as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:11:

"Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."

Remember in Isaiah 14, the "Assyrian" is a type of the Antichrist. The Companion Bible will back this statement up. In other words, the words and deeds that the Assyrian king accomplished are the same words and deeds that Satan will accomplish in his role as the Assyrian of the end times. This is to say that those prophetic events are going to give up a clue as to what the Antichrist will be doing in the last days. The Minor Prophets have given a close look as to what we can expect to happen in those final days.

Nahum 3:7
7 And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon thee shall flee from thee, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee?

This has to do with the city of Nineveh, which was the capitol of Assyria. This was the city that Jonah was sent to, to preach repentance. This is saying here that when the city of Nineveh is destroyed, there will be no one left to bemoan her.

Nahum 3:8
8 Art thou better than populous No, that was situate among the rivers, that had the waters round about it, whose rampart was the sea, and her wall was from the sea?

"Populus No" in the Hebrew text is "No'-Amom" of the city of the Egyptian gods. This river was the Nile, and God is asking Nineveh if she thinks she is any better off than the city of the Egyptian gods over there by the Nile? This city on the Nile had a natural fortress built around her, and it is important that we pay attention to the geographical locations.

Nahum 3:9
9 Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength, and it was infinite; Put and Lubim were thy helpers.

Remember these names, these will be discussed in a little bit. "Put" were among the mercenaries at Tyre of Ezekiel 27:10, and Ethiopia strengthened her while Egypt defended her. Tyre is a type used for the name of Satan, and Satan is called the "king of Tyre", the king of the rock, over the many stones that were worn smooth over a long period of time. Of course we are referring to the kenites, the sons and the offspring of Cain.
