The Chronicles are divided into two books, the first book of the Chronicles deals with the genealogy of the families from Adam to the captivity, while the second book of the Chronicles deals with the history of those men of that family and their nations during that same time period. Both books end with the Captivity of the old house of Judah. The house of Judah was made up from the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, mixed with the Kenites, those sons of Cain that were forced into service as wood cutters, and later by the end of the captivity these Kenites had completely taken over the priesthood. Of course the Levites were scattered amongst all the tribes, and by the time of the captivity of the house of Judah, the house of Israel had been scattered some three hundred years prior by the Assyrians.

"Chronicles" in the Hebrew was called "Dibrei hayydmim", or "words of the days." In the Greek, these two books are called "Paraleipomena", or "things omitted." In the Latin text the book is "Chronicon", from which we get Chronicles in the English. These books belong to a different part of the Old Testament, for they do not follow in any sequential order from the book of First and Second Kings. The Hebrew Canon calls these two books "The conclusion to the Old Testament."

The genealogies in these books lead up to Matthew 1:1 that starts the New Testament with the genealogy of Jesus the Christ that was about to be born to the Virgin Mary. It verifies the fact that Jesus the Christ was born in the lineage of David, and Abraham, which is the Adamic blood line from Genesis. The reason that the Chronicles deals mostly with the house of Judah, rather that the house of Israel, is that Jesus, the coming Savior was to be born into this world age through the lineage of David, of the tribe of Judah. So this deals with the rightful King and His forerunner, that would set the stage for the last Adam to come, Jesus the Christ. The book start with the first Adam, and lead to those coming of the second Adam, our Lord Jesus Christ.

As compared with the books of Kings and Samuel, the books of Chronicles give us the Divine point of view, whereas the books of Kings and Samuel reveal to us a view of the human history of this time period to the time of the captivity in Babylon. As the books of 1st, 2nd Kings and 1st and 2nd Samuel, reveal the historical nature of the tribes of Israel, the Chronicles will give parallel passages to those same stories. So expect to be referred back to those parallel passages very often. Again, remember that the reason that the focus throughout the Chronicles is on the southern kingdom of the house of Judah, is that the house of Judah is the nation that the promised Messiah would be born into. So it is setting the stage for the New Testament; and it is pointing to the morals, and giving the reason for both the judgments and the mercies that our Heavenly Father will give; such as in I Chronicles 10:13; 2 Chronicles 12:12 and so on in other places.

I Chronicles 1:1 "Adam, Sheth, Enosh,"

YHVH our Heavenly Father created all things within and over this universe, and when He created this earth, it was good; it was perfect and created for the inhabitance for mankind. In that first earth age, Satan rebelled against God, and in that state of rebellion one third of all souls followed Satan and took part in his rebellion. God either had to destroy a third of His children, or that earth age that was, and the destruction of that first earth age is exactly what happened. This ruin is what brought on the reforming of this second earth age, that starts with Genesis 1:2; for as the Spirit of God moved on the earth in its chaotic state, he brought forth those things that were necessary to have our earth and all the things that we have to exist in our human form, over the six day creation cycle. When the time was right, God set up His plan whereby each soul could go through this earth age completely innocent of that first earth age, and choose between God and Satan.

Genesis 1:26 "And God said, "Let us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

So God and the angels, those souls that are with God called the "Elohim" decided to make entry into this flesh earth age by the birthing system that we now enter. Making human beings in the image, or likeness that they appeared to be in that heavenly kingdom where our heavenly Father reigns. In this world age of flesh and blood man, each human being would appear as an image of what his soul looked like in that dimension of his heavenly realm. That soul would be born into this earth age innocent of the age that was, whereby one third of all created souls followed Satan in his rebellion. Each soul would enter into it's mother's womb at conception, and grow through that embryo stage, as that life grew into living human flesh within it's mother. In the given time [9 months], that developing life with the soul would leave the protection of the water sack in the mother's womb, to enter into this earth age and grow to maturity, and eventually die in old age. Old age to these flesh bodies, is but a breath of vapor, in comparison to the length of time of the eternity.

This then is a way that God could allow each soul to decide for itself whether it would follow Satan or God, and would have the opportunity to Love the Lord and follow His Ways. God took those rebellious souls, and gave them the opportunity to come back to Him.

Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them."

This is the sixth day of God's creation of this second earth age, for the actual time of each day was probably around or over a thousand years, yet the point here is that the races of mankind were created here on the sixth day. Notice that God created man in "His own image". Both male and female were created in the image of God.

Genesis 1:28 "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

So when the creation of this earth and all its systems, including that of men and women of the races was completed, "God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth..." Friend, this is how each soul would enter into this earth age in innocence, through the water of the birthing bag of the womb of woman. God placed souls into all humans of each of the races of this earth age of flesh man: yet none of these men were created to till the soil. Remember that this process of human reproduction was the method that God used to place each soul into the embryo at conception, and be born later through the womb of woman. In the first earth age, as in all the angelic forms, there is only the male or masculine form. the female does not exist in angelic beings. God wanted the entry into this earth age only by the birthing process. The two dimensions exist separately, and there was to be no crossing of these sons of God from one dimension side [the heavenly kingdom] to the other [the flesh earth age] without going through the womb. The flesh age is the age of innocence.

This is why Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3:5; "Verily verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and for the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." Many times people run around asking, "are you born again", but in the Greek text; it reads, "another", meaning "from above". Friend, if you have a mother and were born into this world by the womb of your mother, you entered this world by water, and your soul can only be born of the spirit through the Holy Spirit. That happens when you believe and come under the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ in faith, through your repentance in Jesus' name.

Then on the eighth day, after the day of rest; "God created Adam, to till the soil." He placed Adam in the Garden of Eden, and gave him Eve as his helpmate for life. Satan then came and tempted Adam's wife Eve; and Eve had two children because she became "wholly seduced" sexually by Satan and Adam one after the other. One of the the babies was by Adam, and the other by Satan. These are the sexual acts that many try to cover over, and by doing so, it make the entire Bible look like a story book. Because of the sin that entered into the Garden of Eden, God promised that a Messiah would come through the family lineage of Adam! This is what the entire bible is all about.

God designated Adam, and the Adamic lineage by which the promised Messiah would come into this world age, in the flesh. Jesus became the living blood sacrifice for the sins of men and women, and by each soul's acceptance of that blood Sacrifice, each soul that accepts His way is drawn back to YHVH the Father. The law and all the blood ritual that God gave to Moses, and even the sacrifices that were in the Garden of Eden, required blood sacrifice for sin. Cain brought produce from the ground, and Abel made a blood sacrifice to God. Cain's offering was not accepted, while Abel pleased God. Cain became jealous, and slew Abel, and then tried to lie about his murderous act, and God put a curse on him for all his days.

The Bible that we hold so dear is the story of Adam and his family to this end generation. It is a historical record, and gives us the prophecies of all those things and nations that would make a major part in this Adamic family's life. God blessed this family, and through the Abrahamic Covenant promises, these blessings will continue right to the end of this second earth age, that comes to a close at the seventh trump of the book of Revelation. God loves his children, and He has warned each of us of what we are to face in these end time, through the prophets and Apostles of His Word. He promised a Son would come and be born of a Virgin, and be crucified by the sons of Satan, these Kenites, and these Kenite people are identified in I Chronicles 2:55.

Genesis 3:15 "And I [God] will put enmity between thee [Satan] and the woman [Eve], and between thy [Satan's] seed [the Kenites] and her [Eve's] Seed [Jesus Christ]; It [Christ] shall bruise thy [Satan's] head, and thou [the Kenites] shalt bruise His [Christ's] heel."

This simple verse you had better go over again, for to understand most of the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, you have to understand what happened in the Garden of Eden. Satan tempted ["wholly seduced" sexually] Eve, and from that union with Eve came the birth of two little baby boys named Cain and Abel. Cain being the child or "seed of Satan", and Abel the child or seed of Adam. Cain became "the first murderer" when he slew Abel, and the offspring of Cain, the Kenites, were the ones that slew our Lord Jesus Christ, and plotted the murderer from the start of Jesus' ministry. The "Kenites" are the seed from Genesis 3:15 that bruised Christ's heal on the cross many years later.

Here in the first two chapters of First Chronicles we will be studying how these Kenites virtually took over the Levitical priesthood, and by the time of Christ's birth, they were out to kill him as a baby, and later plot his murder from the start of his ministry. The word "Kenites" means "the sons of Cain", the son of Satan that was born in the Garden of Eden to Eve, his mother. This is why all genealogy from Adam goes from Adam, to Seth [Sheth], and on to Enosh. Abel, Seth's older brother was murdered by his other half brother, Cain. Seth's daddy was Adam, and Cain's daddy was Satan. With this in mind, it becomes easier to read John 8:44 where Jesus is talking to the Kenite Jewish religious leaders of that day.

John 8:44 "Ye [these Kenite Jewish religious leaders = Pharisees] are of your father the devil [Satan], and the lusts of your father [Satan] ye will do. He [Cain] was a murderer from the beginning [Garden of Eden], and abode not in the truth, because there was no truth in him. When he [Cain] speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own [Satan]: for he [Satan] is a liar, and the father of it."

When Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3:5 "...Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." This is exactly what Jesus was talking about. For we know from Jude 6, and Genesis 6:1-3 that many souls, or what we call angels did not come to earth through the birthing process, but "kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation,.." They came to earth for the sake of polluting the bloodline of man, that lineage that Christ would come through; and this was the reason that God brought on that first flood of Noah's day.

So when the name "Kenite" is mentioned, notice first how it will be hidden, and made light of, for these hidden ones have taken over the duties of records keeping, and the duties within the Temple itself, as they are the religious leaders of the Jews. The term Jew came out of the time of captivity in Babylon, and these peoples traditions are what is important to them.

I Chronicles 2:55 "And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez [Jerusalem]; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab."

We will read this verse again at the end of the second chapter. These people that controlled the priesthood and records keeping were not of Abraham, but the very lineage of Satan. Do you now understand why they plotted murder in their hearts from the first moment of Jesus' ministry?

As you read through these names, put a marker in Genesis 5, and Matthew 1 and compare the names given, then compare the names that Cain named his children. Seth named his first Enos, while Cain named his child Enoch. So some Kenite scribe here names Seth, Sheth, and his son Enosh...Do you see the mixing of the two to give confusion. That will continue through these books so be aware of what is going on here. This is why God tells us to "study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed."

I Chronicles 1:2 "Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered,"

"Kenan", should read "Cainan" as given in Genesis 5:10. Again notice how the names of the children of Cain's blood line are given names very close to the names of the lineage of Seth's blood line, to make the reader confused. The "Mahalaleel" son of Cainan, is close to the Methusael in the lineage of Cain. "Jered" as given here should read Jared.

I Chronicles 1:3 "Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,"

This "Henoch", the son of Jared is the Enoch that lived and trusted God. Enoch had a son Methuselah, before he was taken by God, and not allowed to died the death of normal human beings. Genesis 5:24 "And Enoch walked with God and he was not; for God took him." When Methuselah died he was nine hundred and sixty nine years old, the oldest recorded living human being on the face of the earth. The son of Methuselah, named Lamech was a honest man, and he had a son Noah. However in the Cain blood line there was also a Lamech, who was not a honest man, but like his father Cain, a murderer, seven times over, as we read in Genesis 4:23, 24. Again, pay attention to names, for Satan and his children like to play games with God's Word, and they do. They add a word here, and leave a word out there, twisting and shaping it to make traps for you.

I Chronicles 1:4 "Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth."

God held off the flood of Noah's day until the death of his father Lamech. Genesis 5:31 "And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died." God did not allow Lamech to die in the flood. We read in Genesis 7:1 "And the Lord said unto Noah, "Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before Me in this generation." So what was going on in that generation to cause God to want to destroy all the people of that generation? For that understanding we have to go back to Genesis 6. Here again Satan is trying to mess up that plan of God, whereby each soul must enter into this earth age of flesh man by the birthing process, through water of the birthing back, born through the womb of womb of woman. In that the birthing process was going on, babies were being born and growing into maturity, boys and girls alike. Remember that all angels or souls of that first earth age were created, not born. Even though Ham and Japheth's blood line are given, It will be the through the lineage of Noah and Shem that the Messiah, Jesus the Christ, would be born into this world age of flesh man.

We note from Genesis 5:32 that these three sons of Noah are named in inverted order. Japheth was the elder (Genesis 10:21) with Shem the youngest, and in many other cases, the youngest would be chosen for the blessing. Remember also that at this time of Noah's life, the people of the entire earth had completely contaminated themselves with the fallen angels in that first influx that came to earth and took the daughter's of men for their wives.

Genesis 6:1, 2 "And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them," [1] "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose." [2]

Understand here that the female body of this earth age is common only to this earth age. For all souls of that first earth age were created masculine. They were created, not born as we know it in this earth age of flesh man. These fallen angels came to earth to partake of the things of this earth age, without coming in innocence by the birthing process. They brought with them all the knowledge of that other dimension of the first earth age, and this would spoil all the purpose for a coming Messiah, and pollute the lineage of Christ. Remember from our Leviticus studies that the sacrifice was to be without spot or blemish; God had to remove these half breeds from the fallen angels, for that is all that existed on earth at this time, beside Noah and his family.

Genesis 6:9 "These are the Generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."

"Generations" are mentioned twice in this verse, the first "generations" in the Hebrew text is "toledoth", meaning "family history". but where it says "his generations" the Hebrew text is "dor" referring to those souls that were alive, and living during the time of Noah. These children that were born from that union of these fallen angels and the daughters of men contaminated all human flesh on the face of the earth, but Noah and His family. When God saw this, He wanted to destroy man from the face of the earth, all that is except two of each kind [race and species] and the eight Adamic souls of Noah's family.

Notice also that "Noah was a just man, and perfect in his generations." Noah was just and followed the instructions from God. He and his sons did not take of the other families that had been contaminated, and blood lines polluted, but stayed within the daughters of his own family. "Perfect" in his generation in the Hebrew text is "Tamim", meaning "without blemish as to breed or pedigree." If you raise dogs or horses, you know what pedigree means, for it considers only the blood line of each animal, going back in it's generations.

Friend, Jesus talked about this in Matthew 24:37-39; as a warning to you and I living in this end generation. This warning was part of the the events that would take place in that last generation just prior to His coming at the seventh trump.

Matthew 24:37-39 "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." [27] "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark," [38] "And knew not until the flood came, and too them all away: so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." [39]

Satan and his army of fallen angels are coming to earth at the sixth trump, as recorded in Revelation 12:7 - 9, and when Michael and his army defeats Satan and his army of fallen angels, they are going to be booted out here onto the earth. It is part of God's plan to test the souls of mankind living in these end times. Its another warning to you and I, for several of the trumps have already sounded, the Jews have returned to the land of Palestine, the one world system has been established, and the four hidden dynasties of our generation are in place and part of our lives.

I Chronicles 1:5 "The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras."

These sons of Japheth are given to us in Genesis 10:2 - 5, Japheth being the oldest of Noah's sons, in the Hebrew meaning "enlargement". Gomer in the Assyrian tongue is "Gimirra", (The Kimmerians of Herodotus). Progenitor of the Celts. Magog is tied to Gomer, and even in the end times is named as one of the nations that comes against Israel to close out this earth age of flesh man. [Ezekiel 38:2, 6]. Madai is first seen on the Assyrian monuments 840 B. C. and is called Ameda, meaning his people are the Kurdish tribes east of Assyria, in Iraq as we know it today. These people are right in the center of all the activity in Iraq and the middle east today.

Tubal and Meshech are also mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and numbered with the nations that God will bring in the army against Israel, and numbered with Russia's allies as they come across that reed sea, into the valley of Hamon-gog to be destroyed, and close out this age of flesh man. God is letting us know who each of these nation are that will come against us, and where their origins are.

Ezekiel 38:1 - 3 "And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying," [1] "Son of man, st thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Mechech and Tubal, and prophesy against him," [2] "And Say, `Thus saith the Lord God:`Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:" [3]

Many people confuse the Israel that these nations come against, going east out of the land of Russia, as being in the middle east, but east our of Russia leads over over the old "reed sea" that we know as the body of water that separates Alaska from Russia. God will destroy that army of Russia and it Allies as they come against us.

Ezekiel 38:11 "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog."

Friend, the only land that a foreign army will posses in the land of Israel, of the United Satans and Great Brittan, will be their grave site. No it will not be our army that will do the job, but God will give us the victory. The method that God will use is the same that God used in giving the victory to Israel, as they camped on the plains of Moab, just before they crossed the Jordan river to entered into, and take the promise land. He will confuse their minds, to cause each man's sword to be used against his brother; along with the earth quakes, and rain of great hailstone and fire that God shall rain down upon them. So as you read over these names of sons of Japheth and Ham, these men's children will form the nations that will be used in these end times to test the will of His people, the nations of the tribes of the House of Israel.

I Chronicles 1:6 "And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah."

I Chronicles 1:7 "And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim."

I Chronicles 1:8 "The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan."

The land of the children of Ham settled in the northern lands of Africa. The land of Cush being that of Ethiopia, and southern Egypt. There people were not the black people that also reside there, but Adamic in skin color. The land of Put is where we call Libya today, while the land of Canaan, were the nations that resided in the land of Canaan, which God gave to the children of Israel, after their bondage in Egypt.

I Chronicles 1:9 "And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan."

I Chronicles 1:10 "And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth."

Nimrod was a mighty hunter, and his name in the Hebrew is "Marad", meaning "to rebel" Nimrod built his kingdom on the cities of Babel, Erich, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar, which is Iraq of today. This kingdom expanded and other cities were built, such as Nineveh and the city of Resen. In time these became great cities, and remember that at this time, all men on the face of the earth spoke the same language. Nimrod then was the great leader that tried to unite all the peoples of the earth under his kingdom.

Genesis 11:3, 4 "And they said one to another, "Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly." And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter." [3] "And they said, "Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth." [4]

These early peoples wanted to unify into a one world system, government under Nimrod, and become independent from God. They wanted this tower to reach into the heavens, and it was from this ancient practices and temples that the foundation of most heathen religious forms came into being. The center of the religious practice was in the Zodiac, depicted on it, as we see in the ancient temples of Denderah and Esneh in Egypt. Remember that the son of Ham, Cainan and his children, were the founders of the ancient religious practices that we even see traces of today in parts of Christian traditions, that were brought into the early church right after the start of the early church. Paul continually warns us to be on guard against these traditions. Many of the traditional customs surrounding Easter, such as the easter egg, the bowing to the east, the sunrise service and so on, come right out of that ancient Baal religion.

I Chronicles 1:11 "And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naph-tuhim,"

I Chronicles 1:12 "And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim."

I Chronicles 1:13 "And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,"

The land of Canaan is the land of Palestine, the promise land that God promised to Abraham as part of the Abrahamic covenant. As you read through these name of the sons of Canaan, you can recognize that they became the nations that the children of Israel fought against when they went in to claim the land that God gave to them. The lands of Zidon and Heth in time became the centers for the Kenites, that blended with them.

I Chronicles 1:14 "The Jebusites also, and Amorite, and Girgashite,"

The Jebusites were the ones that founded the city of Jebuz, know to us as Jerusalem. David saw the city, and went in to destroy the people and claim the land for God's people.

I Chronicles 1:15 "And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,"

I Chronicles 1:16 "And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite."

I Chronicles 1:17 "The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech."

This verse continues the lineage of Christ, and we ought to be aware of certain errors that have crept in by the translators. Luke 3:35, and 36 points this out. Notice that in the next verse Arphaxad begat Shelah, of course this is in the Hebrew, whereas the Luke record was in the Greek. Luke 3:35 ends with; "...which was the son of Heber, which was the son of Sala," then it starts in the 36th verse, "Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe." There is no Cainan between the name of Arphaxad and Sala [Shelah]. Remember that this is given, showing that the lineage of Jesus Christ was pure, spotless and unblemished. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the those that would believe and by faith come under the blood of Christ for the forgiveness of their sins.

I Chronicles 1:18 "And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber."

Again, this is tracing the lineage of Christ.

I Chronicles 1:19 "And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan."

The word "Peleg" in the Hebrew means "divide or division". With this in mind, lets read Genesis 10:25 "And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg: for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan." So from the years of 2217 B.C. to 2185 B. C. marks the time when the scattering of the people from the tower of Babel, and the confusion from the languages took place. People scattered out over all the lands of the earth and marked their land that they would live in. The earth became divided into nation, and people, and tongues. Prior to this time, it was one earthly kingdom, with Nimrod as its lord and ruler.

Genesis 11:6 "And the Lord said, "Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do."

Genesis 11:7 "Go to, let Us go down , and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech."

I Chronicles 1:20 "And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,"

I Chronicles 1:21 "Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,"

I Chronicles 1:22 "And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,"

I Chronicles 1:23 "And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All there were the sons of Koktan."

I Chronicles 1:24 "Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,"

In verses one through four in this chapter were the direct descents from Adam to Shem. Then here we pick the continued direct line of the lineage of our Lord Jesus Christ: from Shem to Abraham, but as you read through the lineage in Luke 3:34-36 the names will be spelt differently because of the New Testament documents being written in Greek.

I Chronicles 1:25 "Eber, Peleg, Reu,"

I Chronicles 1:26 "Serug, Nahor, Terah,"

Terah lived in the land of his nativity, in the land of Ur of the Chaldees. He begat Abram and Nahor, They each took themselves wives from their uncle Haran, for Abram's wife was Sarai. In time, Tarah took his son Abram and his wife, and Nahor's son Lot, and they left the land of Ur, and went to the land of his brother, Haran in the far northern part of the land of Canaan. After five years here, Tarah died, and Abram took Sarai and Lot and his possessions and went south into the land of Canaan to live.

I Chronicles 1:27 "Abram: the same is Abraham."

Because of Abraham's faithfulness to God God changed Abram's name to Abraham, and Sarai's name to Sarah.

I Chronicles 1:28 "The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael."

Isaac was the younger son, the son of Sarah, for the promised Covenant blessing was to Abraham and Sarah. Ishmael was not born to Abraham's wife, but to Sarah's servant Hagar. Though Isaac would carry the three fold blessing promise, of the Abrahamic covenant that God made with Abraham, God would still bless Ishmael with twelve sons. Abraham and Sarah waited many years for the birth of their son, Isaac.

Genesis 22:1, 2 "And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham:" and he said, "Behold, here I am." [1] "And He said, "take thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of." [2]

Then God tested Abraham's faithfulness to Him by asking him to sacrifice his only son on the altar to Him. Abraham took his son and went up on that hill, he built the altar to God, took the wood and placed it on the altar, and took out his blade and was willing to do what ever God asked of him; before God stopped Abraham, and gave him a ram to sacrifice in place of Isaac. Abraham knew that God would provide protection for Isaac, and things would work out alright.

Genesis 22:10, 11 "And Abraham stretched forth his hand and took the knife to slay his son." [10] "And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, "Abraham, Abraham:" and he said, "Here am I." [11]

Abraham followed God's instruction to the limit, before God stopped him.

Genesis 22:12 "And He said, "Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thu any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thour hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from Me."

God saved the life of Isaac from death, but we know that there was another sacrifice that would take place about 1900 years later, when God would not spare His own Son from being slaughtered at the hands of the Kenites. Just as Isaac knew that he was to be the lamb slaughtered for the sacrifice on the altar that his father Abraham was building, Jesus also knew that he would be the Lamb slaughtered for the sins of many. Isaac willingly laid himself on that altar up there on mount Moriah, many years later, God would not spare His only Begotten Son. The innocent death of Jesus Christ became the only way that any soul can now approach the thrown of God, to seek forgiveness and eternal life for its soul.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

This is why this lineage of Christ is so important, for it required a spotless and blameless sacrifice to be sacrificed, and only our Lord Jesus Christ could be that sacrifice. Jesus was conceived by God, the Holy Spirit, and the life of that soul entered into His body at conception. He was conceived in perfection, and lived His life in perfection. When Jesus was crucified, He was blameless before God.

This also is a matter then of when the soul enters into the body, and when that soul is considered life. When a ship or plain goes down, the record is counting the number of souls, not bodies, for in wartime many dead bodies that go down, men lost in battle, but the count is for the souls within bodies. The soul is the life of the body, and at the instant of death, that soul returns to God that placed it in that embryo at conception. Though Satan's courts can rule that the soul is not in the body until it enters outside the womb, God has warned each of us through His Word that this is not so. If you are blind to this truth, and that murder that you are causing is done in innocence, or is it? Do you go by God's standards, of by the god of this world age [Satan's] standards.

I Chronicles 1:29 "These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Dedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,"

I Chronicles 1:30 "Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,"

I Chronicles 1:31 "Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael."

I Chronicles 1:32 "Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan."

Following the death of Sarah, Abraham took a second wife, Keturah, who gave Abraham twelve more sons. These twelve sons would not receive any part of the Covenant promise that God put on Isaac, but God would bless then anyway. We recognize many of these names as heads of Arabic nations and lands even today.

I Chronicles 1:33 "And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah."

These children of Midian, the Midianites were the last nation that the children of Israel would face in battle before crossing the Jordan river, and going in to take the land of Canaan. The land of the Midianites was in the area east of the Jordan river.

I Chronicles 1:34 "And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel."

The son born to Abraham and Sarah, Isaac, had two sons, twins Esau the oldest and Jacob. This time fo the birth of Esau and Jacob to Isaac and Rebekah took place about 1896 B. C.

I Chronicles 1:35 "The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah."

Esau was born first and had the birthright for his possession, but he saw that birthright to be of no value to him. At the time he was hungry, the bowl of soup became more valuable, and traded the soup for all the blessings that would give to His people. God knew that this would happen, and as we read in Malachi 1 - 3 that God loved Jacob, the second born, "And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains [nations] and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness." These peoples are the Russians of today, and the many nations that surround the borders of Russia.

I Chronicles 1:36 "The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatham, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek."

I Chronicles 1:37 "The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah."

I Chronicles 1:38 "The sons of Sier; Lotabn, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan."

I Chronicles 1:39 "And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister."

I Chronicles 1:40 "The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah."

I Chronicles 1:41 "The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran."

I Chronicles 1:42 "The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Kakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran."

I Chronicles 1:43 "Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of the city was Dinhabah."

Genesis 36:31 was known to the author of this chapter and before him as he wrote this verse. "And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel." The first king over Israel would not come to power until Saul took the thone some seven hundred years later.

I Chronicles 1:44 "And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead."

I Chronicles 1:45 "And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead."

I Chronicles 1:46 "And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith."

I Chronicles 1:47 "And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead."

I Chronicles 1:48 "And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead."

I Chronicles 1:49 "And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead."

I Chronicles 1:50 "And when Baal-hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetable, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab."

I Chronicles 1:51 "Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,"

I Chronicles 1:52 "Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,"

I Chronicles 1:53 "Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,"

I Chronicles 1:54 "Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom."

This chapter ends by naming the dukes or heads over the different tribes or families of the children of Esau. Rather than just name a list of names, we have seen that there is order to the way that these names are listed. It is important to follow these names, for it gives us not only the genealogy of Adam, and the lineage of our Lord Jesus Christ, but also reflects how these families of nations will be tied together in the end times, and this earth age of flesh man comes to a close.
