7 Trumps
By Servant of God

(with notes from E.W. Bullinger)
The Trumpet and Vial judgments are continuous once they begin. It is only the description of them (not the course of them) which is interrupted, in order to allow of the necessary information being given which shows the necessity for them.
ECCLESIASTES 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
THE FIRST TRUMP  Seventh Plague.
REVELATION 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
EXODUS 9:23  And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the lord sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
EXODUS 9:24  So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt, since it became a nation.
EXODUS 9:25  And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.
Now this is the 7th plague, now compare this to the Seventh Vial is like the 7th plague, of hail, & etc.

When we speak of a third, it was a third that followed Satan in the first earth age, and it usually has to do with that part that can be deceived.

THE SECOND TRUMP  This is the first Plague.
REVELATION 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood;
REVELATION 8:9  And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

We are told of these ships in ISAIAH 2:16 It does not say it was a mountain, but that it was like one. What John saw was a fiery mass like a mountain cast into the sea, and turning it into blood.
EXODUS 7:20  And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of
Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.
EXODUS 7:21 And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.
PSALMS 105 verse 29  He turned their waters into blood, And slew their fish.

And there again you always have that third, what you have here is the third of the people are Spiritually dead, that`s where the blood comes from spiritually speaking. But there will be more then a third deceived, the minute they start worshiping Satan they are no longer Christians.

REVELATION 17:15 tells us that the waters are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

REVELATION 8:10  And the third angel sounded,  and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

REVELATION 8:11  And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter Wormwood.

Strong's # 894 apsinthos, wormwood (as a type of bitterness, i.e. [fig] calamity)

That stars should fall from heaven is a subject of prophecy (6. 13). Revelation 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
This is Satan`s influence on earth, deceiving people spiritually. you better be prepared for it.

REVELATION 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

But this is a prelude of darkness that is caused by the smoke coming from the abyss, by the releasing of the locust army, and Satan, spiritually speaking.
ISAIAH 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

AMOS 8:9  And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day;

JOEL 2:10  The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble; the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
THE FIFTH TRUMP  The eighth Plague. Locust Army.

The fifth and sixth Trumpets are the first and second of the three "Woe" Trumpets. This refers, of course, to Judah and the Land. What John sees, refers to the earth in general.

This judgment corresponds with the eighth and ninth plagues of Egypt (Exodus. 10. 5), when Moses threatened that the locusts should "cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth."
REVELATION 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth; and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

REVELATION 9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth; and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

The star (or angel) had fallen from heaven before John saw it. (Compare Isa. 14. 12. Luke 10. 18).
EXODUS 10:14 And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt; very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.

The Sixth, or "second Woe" Trumpet is set forth with more detail than any of the others.
REVELATION 9:13  And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden alter which is before God,

REVELATION 9:14  Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, “Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

JEREMIAH 46:6 Let not the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the RIVER EUPHRATES

JEREMIAH 46:10  For this is the day of the Lord God of hosts, a day of vengeance, that He may avenge Him of His adversaries; and the sword shall devour,
and it shall satiate and made drunk with their blood; for the Lord God of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.
These angels are at present "bound." . But before that day a further division of the Satanic forces is to be let loose upon the earth. Why "at the river  Euphrates" we are not told. What connection there may be between Babel and the Abyss we do not know. Seeing that Satan's earlier activities were connected with that region, there must be some appropriate reason. The Euphrates is associated with the coming judgments of the great day. See Jer. 46. 4-10
The third Woe, which is the result of the sounding of the seventh Trumpet.
REVELATION 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our LORD, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever,”
The Seventh Trumpet brings us back to Heaven and to the Third Vision seen there by John. For it is "in heaven" that the Trumpet is sounded.

The Seventh Trumpet thus embraces the whole of the seven Vials, or last seven plagues, which make up the "Third Woe."

The Seventh Trumpet, therefore, really reaches from chap. 11. 15 to 18. 24, or even to 20. 5, for it takes in the whole of the remaining judgments. In chap. 10. 7, the mighty angel declared that "in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall sound, the secret of God should be finished": i.e., that it will be finished during the days covered by his sounding (embracing, as we have seen, the whole of the seven Vials, and bringing us down to 20. 15). The whole of God's secret purposes, the details of which were known only to Himself, will be accomplished.
